It's like we're forced to know everyone's ridiculous opinion...heck, it's not opinions, it's fair weathers showing their true colors. :tantrum:

if and I doubt we will, but if we lose to buffalo all hell will go down on this forum.
 
Its the same after a win. I predict a Super Bowl! 12-4 here we come. Gus Frerotte is a good QB! The extremes of optimism and pessimism are ever present on this board. At least there's a good amount of people who keep things in perspective

I whole-heartily agree adam.

If it wasnt for the other clear-headed phin fans out here I would not still be a member. Theres just too much idiocy around here after a loss, and especially a tough loss to the defending champs.
 
yea even in the cat last night it was like f-u booker u suck then he makes that long catch and run and everyonei s like yea marty we love u.
 
U know, there are alot of people on this board who aren't real fans . . . thats all that is too it. When the Heat were doing bad, they were nowhere to be found, and then came out the closet. When the Marlins were 11-31 they don't like baseball, but now they are the world's biggest Marlin fans . . . thats South Florida sports fans for u, the biggest bangwagon jumpers and jump offers in the country.

Fact is . . . we played the super bowl champs . . .in their house . . . first game after winning the super bowl . . . and we had the lead in the 4th quarter. Yea maybe Ben was out, so what . . . Batch has an excellent preseason . . . and is a capable backup in this league . . . he has been with that offense for a few years now. Daunte just now finally got some real game action . . . full force . . . against maybe the tuffest defense to understand in the league . . . and he did good IMO. Yea he threw the 2 late INT's but our defense shouldn't have put him in that position. I mean the Heath Miller play was just unacceptable . . . plain and simple . . . and Saban and the team have 10 whole days to get it right.

I don't feel as bad as some of u indicate . . . I had us going 11-5 . . . and this was one of the losses I had us down for. Its cool, I thought we played good, just we haven't fully gelled yet as a team, and it gonna take time, I have no problem saying that I hope we see these guys in January . . . because it will be a different story then.
 
These people need to relax, and realize that will be one, if not THE toughest game we have all season long. We played well enough to win, but things didn't go our way when we needed. The Phinz are only going to get better, and we have two very winnable home games over the next two weeks. We win those, and we're right back in the thick of it. No worries.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!
 
yea seriously people get rediculous on here after our first game.we have 15 to go ladies and gentlemen

Yeah me too. There's alot of knowledgeable fans on this site and its why I keep coming back. I view the over the top posts as just something I have to sift through before I can come to some good comments.

I vow to not come here for Sunday nor Monday if we lose that game because it will be a jungle. However, if I see any of these hate fans posting praise, I am going to pull up one of their ridiculous threads and never take anything they say seriously again. If you are hating the team, please, just keep hating the rest of the year. I don't want you to feel the glory of winning if you are throwing them under the bus already.
 
Agreed...mostly what annoys me is the people that come on here and say things like, "since I played football...blah blah blah and since you people never played you can't understand it". :rolleyes: What a bunch of garbage. Most of those "former players" where high school or maybe jr. college level players and even if they where major college level players if they understood the damn game so much they'd have played it in the NFL instead of analyzing it on a message board. It's as if they think that since they played high school ball it's the same game as the pros. Please. The arrogance that they know more than the guy on the sidelines, absent obvious continued losing and poor performance that is disregarded by said guy(i.e. Wannstedt), is ridiculous.
The depth of the analysis and "evidence" they use to support it is laughable.

I agree with you say all those kind of things after the 1º game of the seson, is just wrong, if we play like ysterday all the seson or the most of the seson we could say that things but not after one game, :fire:

Even though I don't share their opinions Adam, I don't look at it as being a fair weather fan. I think of most of them as passionate dolfans. Everyone was so jacked by the pre-season hype and the excitement following the previous year that it's only natural to get upset after the loss. These same people crying "Daunte Sucks" will be singing his praises if Miami reaches the Superbowl. The only thing that really ticked me off were the penalties in key situations which I felt cost Miami the game not the Steelers.

I know one thing though, Joey Porter better hope they don't have to face the Dolphins again in the post season 'cause I'm sure the outcome will be very different. I'd like nothing better than to see Ronnie or Duante knock him out the game with a punishing highlight hit after that Duante diss.
