I disagree. I'm not here to defend his decision making, but what do you expect him to say in his pressers, "I suck, our team sucks, and I should be fired...?"

You don't know how you would react until you walk in his shoes. If you did, you might see things differently. There's no reason to hate IMO, wanting him gone is enough for me.

No.we get it and some of us have got it for years! The Saints game 09 to be exact! We have been trying to enlighten you and others to the fact that Sparano SUCKS! That's what we are doing, we agree that we were wrong and that Sparano is a bad coach. I think that is enough contrition, if you don't, then that's your problem. I never said you had to feel bad. And to say he didn't learn or grow over the offseason is ridiculous. He completely changed the offense and came out and said to the press that he had to change his offensive philosophy. But clearly that change is not enough. He has not been effective at getting his team adequately prepared to play and execute. The team plays without hear. That's all on him, he should be fired for it not tarred and feathered.

Ahem. Isn't Sparano the Tuna's hire? While Parcells was a great coach in his day, his record as a GM is mediocre at best. Moreover, the league has passed him by. Conservative offense doesn't work any more because of all the rule changes. It's NOT enough to build a great defense and a plodding offense because so many teams have offenses that can beat any D (see one Tom Brady of the NE Patriots). It makes a lot more sense to build a team with a good enough offense to overcome defensive deficiencies.

Moreover, the problem with the great defense/conservative offense coaches is that they are generally unwilling to go "all in" on offense. They really don't trust offensive coaches/players so they're unwilling to take risks on offense.

Actions speak louder then words my friend. In one interview he claims he learned and in another he said he knows people want more explosiveness, but that's not him. The actions are inside the 20 it is the same old **** different day!

I don't mind Nolan running things in the interim basis. He'll be gone at seasons end anyway. It's not like we're going to "bring in" someone mid-season. Would you rather Daboll?
