That's the way I was thinking too. It makes sense. But I heard otherwise last night. I really want(ed) a coaching change.

The thinking behind keeping Wanny and bringing in a GM is that Wanny is doing a good enough job as a coach, just his personel decision-making hasn't been so hot. So he would be stripped of that power....giving it to a standout GM.....and let Wanny focus on coaching.

As for Speilman, if Wanny stays.....he's gone. You can't flip power around like that between two men. And the fact that other prominent GM names are being thrown around adds fuel to the fire that Speilman is outta here.
