we have a ton of trolls right now and we always have trouble with people knowingly putting threads in the wrong forums. Instead of moving these threads why not just lock them down. These people are looking for their threads to get attention, take it away. IF you were to implement this as a policy, I would bet that we would see fewer deliberately misplaced threads. On the trolls...lock their threads and banish them to posting in the depths ONLY. You have done this before and I think it was a great idea then and now. IF all someone wants to do is troll and smack, send them to purgatory where they can do that until the pigs come home.... I mean, how does someone get away with a thread called Daunte sucks...and his commentary is "and if you don't agree you're a moron"... what does THAT bring to the table... put the troll in the depths and the los lonely boys will take care of the rest.

In closing...I think they are looking for attention, if you deny it, they will conform or leave...either way, we, as a site are better off. JMHO

Id say lock the thread and give them a 10% warning for posting stupid stuff in the wrong forums or making a thread that gives no basis for discussion

All it does is get us all warning points for calling them stupid anyway......

We do that already but, you have to remember that there are just as many Dolphins fans who are angry with the team as there are trolls from other teams. Which means we have to decide where to draw the line and it's all rather subjective.

We want everyone to have a voice and feel free to say what they want, good or bad, but we have to balance that against what we know is nothing but instigating rhetoric and hyperbole.....there is a lot of grey area there.

We are doing our best to make EVERYONE's time here enjoyable, and that includes the ones who aren't happy with the team.
