Blocking. Blocking, blocking, blocking.

Not only by the whole o-line, but by Ronnie, Barnes, McMike, and everyone else whose job it is to touch another big man in a way to slow him down at all.

Pepper played better than what people think, Ronnie is awesome, Mularkey isn't as stupid as everyone thinks, and Saban isn't an idiot.

Hopefully Houck gets into those big guys heads and gets them playing better by next Sunday. And if they don't, then hopefully Saban steps in and takes control and starts dropping people like bad habits.

I am sorry... but MM is stupid as hell. Ronnie with only 2 ****ing carries in the 2nd half?!?!

****ing rediculous...

I agree, I was watching players who would just stand there watching the opposing Def run right by em. The few who were blocking took the wrong man resulting in another Defender being unblocked. HOWEVER... I dont agree about CPep, Mularkey, and Saban. Think they all have been below par this season. CPep and Mularkey for the plays, and Saban for not responding to the game when he should.

Those are 4 words. :) No I'm just messin' with you man.

But I agree with Fin Nasty, it's ridiculous how quick we throw out the run. Esepcially with how much Ronnie was dominating.

I have 2 words play calling play calling play calling get mularkey out of the boothe and down on the side line.and run the ball when ronnie is performing like he did last week.:shakeno:

You're right. Nothing is as bad as it seems and the team and coaches don't suck. You just couldn't tell by watching them play.

I guarantee they are going over tape right now and we'll see alot more max protection schemes.. maybe some chip blocking from McMike.... and Ronnie

yep, but at some point you have to say the same thing about Saban.
Mularkey might have been calling the plays, but Saban was there....he saw what was happening. Allowing such poor playcalling to continue is the same as calling the plays himself.
If Mike Mularkey is stupid as hell, so is Nick Saban

The first 2 Dolphin possessions of the 2nd half were 4 runs and 2 passes, and no first downs. By the time we got our third possession, it was 16-0 and near the end of the 3rd quarter.

If we had kept on running at that point the same people who are criticizing the lack of running plays probably would've had a stroke screaming for them to pass that far behind.

ck posted this in his thread. got to look deeper. down by 16 with only 15 mins left doesnt leave you much time to run the ball, especially since i think ( i may be mistaken) we were really looking at like 12 mins and 2 scores (with conversions) cant run the ball there

Did you look at the play-by-play? The situation dictated the run/pass calling in my opinion. At first I thought the same thing, but after it was analyzed, I don't think Mularkey was at fault.

The bills held the ball for most of the 3rd quarter, by the time we got the ball back it was the end of the 3rd and we had to start passing since we were down by three scores. Ronnie ran the ball very well, it would have been even better if "Peperonni" would have hit an open receiver here and there:mad:

I think Mularky is enamered with CPep so he forgot we had a running back. We really weren't that far behind to abandon the run so soon. Reminds me of days gone by. I was talking with me bro on the way to the game and we discussed the fact that we should run at least 20 times. You need that running game in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Mike, please run the **** ball!!

im sure we would run the ball more if we had the lead, or werent down by 2 scores.
