True, they were pretty awful for about 25 years, before acquiring Favre and Reggie White. Since then they have made consistently good decisions, ESPECIALLY with the most important position on the team

In fact, my buddies from Wisconsin refer to that period as the dark ages, much like I refer to the last 14 years for this franchise.
 
Will be an interesting game. We certainly have a coach that should know a thing or two about scheming against the Pack. Our D is really gonna have to be on for sure. We shall see.
 
I really have no idea about our team this year. During the recent interview with Philbin, he mentioned that Hickey was doing a great identifying players that fit the criteria he envisions. My interpretation of the offseason strategy is to change the identity of the team. The release and acquisition has been about forming the identity of the defense and of the offense based upon game play characteristics. I see definite changes in the personality of units within the defense. The backfield is going to be scrappy and aggressive. I have to wait and see if the I projected identity materializes on the field.
 
Why do we have a packers fan during the off-season talking about a midseason game. Not like we have a rivalry. Although i like to think we are following the GB blueprint. But with Lazor here i think that changed a little

with hindsight picking the dolphins (especially under meatball) over the packers was an "interesting" choice. I dont regret it overly much though lol

I remember it. I also remember sometime in the very early 70s my friends and I wrote letters to a bunch of teams pretending to be fans and basically begging for stickers or whatever they'd give us, and the Packers came through huge. They sent me a big envelope loaded with all kinds of stuff including a media guide. They were the only team to send me one of those and they sent us all more stuff by far than any other team.

I was in Lambeau for the win last time, and I think we have a better shot at winning this time then last.
 
Hey guys I am only kidding around. Yes you guys beat us the last time in Lambeau. I guess you have the bragging rights lol. I forgot about that game. You guys reminded me fast lol.
