Redardless of how the team is doing, who is playing, who is not playing whatever. I think if Saban leaves for ANY reason i think this teams would be stuck in the dark ages. I believe that its just gonna take time for Saban to get this team the way it should be. It looks to me Saban is bringing in vets to try and win now while he is rebuilding with the young guys. The only flaw i see is the OC , his calls are kinda predictable and tend to be the wrongs one's. But i hope to god Saban is here for awhile.

It's true, if he leaves we'll end up getting some retread coach who will rebuild this team again with out any guarantees of getting better.

We're already in the dark ages as far as I'm concerned.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I like Saban, and I agree. From 2003 until now, it's been the dark ages. Well I guess 2003 would have been a dim age, but we still missed the playoffs when we shouldn't have.

saban leaving would be a HUGE step back for us.

I have to agree, this team is already in bad shape. To tear it apart again would casue the problems to drag out even longer. I still believe Saban can pull it together.

Saban said he's not leaving, he said that in response to one of our ******* fans who asked that.

I would hate to think of what this team would be like if Lord Saban left.... We might be 0-7.......

Yea and Amen!

when did he say that i'd like to know cause i hope he does not leave i think where he messed up was hiring mularkey we should have promoted bagget and kept the same offense from last years we should have kept ferotte and drafted a young guy it was simple but i did admit i wanted brees ...never wanted c-pep but what do i know all i try to do is analyze what makes the most common sense ...you win six straight at the end of the year ....to me that means you are starting to gell why would you start a new offense and new qb they say it is the same offense i can't tell someone is messin wit our heads

I don't think Saban is leaving either, but what else was he going to say? If deep down he really was thinking about bolting at the end of the year do you think he would say so right before Week 9? He would sugar coat it and say something along the lines of what he said last night.

Again, his statement last night was probably the truth, but you can never be 100% sure.

stop it for a second gang

:cooldude: :cooldude: things are not as gloomey as you all think. for one reason should saban leave there are three great coaches that we can get . jon gruden might be available but most certain is bob stoops and bob stoops can and he would rebuild this franchise quicker then any of you can say boomer sooner.

I don't know that it could get any darker than it is right now. Other than going 0-16.
