We:

keep Wallace for one more year

cut Hartline or Gibson

let Clay go

draft a tall TE with hands

draft for defense

its not a one year plan, in year 2 we replace Wallace and build the OL further

Glad you aren't the GM... Clay needs to stay. We need to add bigger targets to compliment the pieces on the O right now. Hardline or Gibson should be cut though and replaced with a rookie with size

I think the offensive team remains much the same. Wallace, Hartline and Clay will all return.
We will plug in a few new players on the oline.
On defense, that is where all the changes will occur.

We need defense, but we also desperately need to improve the red zone offense. We are top 5 at getting there and near the bottom in TD's when we do. Improve in the red zone and we could be averaging another 4 to 6 points a game. I'd want to keep Clay because he's versatile, but would not break the bank to keep him. He's just doesn't have enough range to be a great red zone target.

Clay is inconsistent, is not a red-zone threat and has bad hands

Its just my opinion

The more I think about it, I like the idea of keeping Clay. With Clay, Sims and Lynch, I really think our TE situation is solid. Plus drafting a TE who would contribute early would be a huge gamble, and I don't like spending a high pick on one with all the other needs we could use those picks on.

Tall WR, now that is a different story. We need to draft one the first two days of the draft.

I want Jeremy Maclin. Cut Wallace sign Maclin, who could possibly leave from what I've read he is no lock to stay in Philly. maybe sign a Michael Crabtree, cut both hardline and Gibson. Plus juice is the real deal.

amazing how gutless it is to give a thumbs down instead of manning up and argue how Clay "is consistent, has great hands and is a red-zone threat"

No. Not close.

Keep Gibson as he is a good 3 or 4 WR. Keep Wallace. He must stay. Keep Clay. Injuries stuffed him this year but he played well towards the end of the season. Clay and Sims would be a solid duo.

Draft a big WR early (one of the first 2 picks if he is BPA ) to play in Hartlines place. The rest of the WR Can fight for the other spots. Landry will be the slot WR.
Draft at least 2 linebackers that can play inside, one early and a middle round at least.
Draft two O lineman
Draft CB and safety

That's 7 picks.

The D line can be addressed via free agency, as can some of the O line.

I'm not gutless I was just busy at the moment. Am I not aloud to use the thumbs down button? Is it forbidden or something? Why would you think its just going to be so easy to draft a better TE then Clay. If it was that easy every team would be loaded at the TE position. Just because you think he is inconsistent doesn't mean he is. Just my opinion.

Kind of funny how bothered people get because someone gave you a "thumbs down" like it impacts your life in any way

Maclin is my dream FA signing. He would be phenomenal in this offense. What are they saying in Philly? I just assumed he would be back there.

He did say he has a little mind.

Maclin would be a terrible FA acquisition. How would he contribute from the bench when he gets injured. One of the most injury prone players in the league
