While I still don't know whether we have a shot at the playofs this year, you can't say we for sure won't be fighting for a spot. Look at the rest of the AFC. After today, who do you think we can't beat? I think the Titans and Broncos are the only teams that I would put up as sure losses.

Who do you think makes the playoffs in the AFC?

I think Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, and Denver win their divisions. Possible wild card teams include:

Chargers, Colts, Jags, Ravens (play NFC East, ouch), Jets, and Pats(?)

Given our schedule, I think we really do have a shot. I have been one of the people saying 'don't get ahead of yourself' and 'give it another year' but screw that. we have a legitimate shot! Who says a 1-15 team can't make the playoffs the following year?

Can anybody honestly say that we have no shot at competing for a wild card spot against those teams? hell, we have the tie-brekaer against the Chargers now:woot:

I agree. If we can keep playing the way we're playing you never know what will happen. Buffalo has played well but they haven't had as tough a schedule as we have had so far. What top teams have they beaten??? We beat two in a row. I think the AFC East could go anywhere at this point.

The key is injuries boys, injuries.

If Miami can stay relatively injury free.. WOW.

This young team has some confidence. And when you combine a young O-line and a young D-line with confidence this early in the season, it can go a long way.

hey, the Giants were 0-2 last year and rode a couple of confidence builders all the way to a SB win. how many rookes/young players did they have on their team?

I would be happy with 6-10, 8-8 would be great, and playoffs would be a dream. If this team can contine to gel and build up confidence and experience, no game on our schedule is a sure loss. As of now, I would say Denver is, but this young team has 4 more weeks to play together before we meet the Broncos. And don't forget, the Broncos were give the win against SD on a bad call. Bad thing is....We play in Denver.

Believe it or not the game I'm most afraid of is the only team we beat last year....

yep, the Ravens in 2 weeks. They have a scary defense and it could be a good game.

IMO, the toughest game left, in THIS ORDER: Ravens, @Broncos, @Bills, @Jets

One week at a time boys, lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

Good things are happening but I am just looking at it one week at a time. I hope the team is doing the same thing.

i agree with most of your message, we have some tough games but also a few easier ones. in my opinion we got the hardest game(/game's' if you count the pats) out of the way.

the only thing i disagree with is the titans being a sure loss, im fairly certain we could take them. they are playing alot like we are, rough defense while offense relies on they're running backs. ill take ronnie/ricky over chris johnson any day of the week, and its not like our 2 wins had easy defenses.

the broncos would bar-b-que us, there wide outs are insane and jay cutler is playing great. also if trent edwards comes back soon, the bills will be a dangerous team.

i wouldnt say titans are sure losses. They didnt look that good and almost lost to a baltimore team with No qb and shot offense.

And Bills IDK. They barely beat the Raiders, they got killed by arizona who killed us, who gave up 50+ to the jets, who lost to the pats and got killed by san diego two teams we won against.

idk this year anybody in the AFC can win and make the playoffs.

lol.....isn't this the truth.....the AFC is a jumbled mess this year.

Who would have expected to hear the Bills and Titans would win their divisions, and the Colts, Jags, Pats, and Chargers might have a shot at playoffs. Most people would have picked Chargers, Pats, and Colts to be locks for their divisions a month ago. To me, the AFC is one HUGE question mark right now.

I agree that we have a shot for the division or wild card. Jets, Bills and Pats have not impressed. Look who the Bills have played. There one credible win was Jacksonville when they were playing horrible and the other wins came from the bottom 5 in the NFL (SEA, OAK [who they hardly beat], STL).

With Edwards out though, depending on how long he's out, this Division is back up in the air again.

If we play like this every week, there's no way we shouldn't be in the playoff hunt at the end of the year.

I'm pumped right now.

true, I guess it is kinda jumping the gun on giving the division to the Bills.

They are only 4-1 and haven't beaten anybody great yet.

With Brady out, Edwards out, Favre out......oh wait, that hasn't happened yet. It's the Madden curse though, just wait.

We have shown that we're better than the Pats, I think we may be better than the Jets, and we could put up a fight against the Bills.

right now it seems like almost any team can beat almost any team.....is hard to tell at this point if we'll make the playoffs but at this point I'm just happy that we have so many young players that are playing better each week and the coaching staff is letting the players have fun and make plays...right now we're one of the most fun teams to watch out there with the wildcat and everything we're doing on defence....I bet ESPN is kicking themselfs in the *** right now cause they don't have us on monday night

Ozzy rules!!

One game at a time my friend. Don't jump the gun on this stuff. Be cautiously optimistic.

eh, screw 'cautiously optimistic.'

like I said, I'll won't be completely disappointed if we go 6-10, that's what I expected before the season and it's still an improvement over 1-15.

I was simplysaying that I have gone from 'don't get ahead of yourself' to 'we have a legit shot at this.'

Think about it this way we have yet to play the Bills if we could beat them twice then who is in the drivers seat for the division. I know we can beat the Jets it is just a matter of execution. Even splitting the games with the division opp. would be a huge accomplishment and could propel us into the playoffs
