this up yet but I thought a big turing point in the game yesterday was when Chambers caught that ball on the sidelines where the refs ruled him out in the 3rd or 4th quarter.I saw it reviewed a few times and saw Chambers telling Saban to throw the red flag because he was in and caught the ball. After looking at the film a few times I thought it could have maybe been reversed and keep the drive alive. I only saw it like 3 or 4 times and wasnt sure if the other foot was down. I did like how Saban pump faked like twice but that little flag never left his hand. :sidelol:

Agreed, I can remember thinking some player or coach should snatch it outta his hand and throw it.

I think Chambers caught it but the ball popped out when he hit the ground....tough call to make.

Saban needs to take some red flag throwing techniques.

Oh sorry if it did but I remember him having the ball when he came down but I think the question was with the right foot. I think it was the drive where he opted out of the FG and we punted it from like 40-45.

Who cares! Wouldn't have saved the game! We need to score touchdowns, not keep drives alive! Get it?

Keeping Drives alive is the key to scoring touchdowns... Get it?

It appeared to me that the call would have been reversed-could be Saban has that flag sewed into his pocket since he threw that one in Pittsburgh like a little girl abd thr reffs missed it.

the play looked good but when they kept showing it in slow motion his left foot was not down. at first i was pissed cause it was a great catch, but it was no good.

So we should try for a touchdown on EVERY play. I wonder why no one has thought of that before.

There were actually many pivotal plays in the game and the Chambers non-catch was one of them. I think had the call been that it was a completion out of bounds Saban would have reviewed it...but it was called incomplete.

The play Booker was injured on that was called back for holding...that was a huge play!

It was ruled incomplete on the field and the play was too close to overturn so it would have been a wasted timeout.

He had a knee down (and one knee equals two feet) but it was unclear whether he had full possesion before that knee went out of bounds.

It was a good non-challenge by Saban.

well, maybe you need to keep the drive alive so you can keep driving your way in the end zone!
I felt that red flag should have been thrown as well, it was a call that could go either way!

They should give the red flag to someone who's got some NADS..
