I hope Howard gets the axe 1st

I hope this guy gets cut first because it would send a positive message to the dolfans that the management is headed in the right direction. If he isn't cut 1st I'm worried about how they evaluate there players (imo). He's got to go and I don't anyone on this site disagrees with that. :dolphins:

It may be more cost effective to keep him though.

I'd rather cut him last. Let all the other cuts lead up to his like a drumroll. Savor it.

Gus is probably the best backup quarterback in the NFL. Keep him for that reason to back up Brees.

Howards not worth what he's making...we all agree with that. However, I highly doubt Saban really cares if the fans get a "positive message" or not...
If he is cut it's because Saban felt he needed to upgrade the roster spot and save cap space...period....

Howard did show some signs of improvement or at least adjustment to the system. He's not as bad as some people think, despite his lack of production. I just don't understand why Wanny acquired him in the first place. He is a cover-2 CB, not suited to Wanny's D and not really to Saban's D...

Thats a stretch, but he is worth keeping around as a backup
