Matt Roth beat Steve Hutchinson in the trenches???

Stood him straight up and stopped the run for no gain on one particular play. Then forced the fumble that R. Hill returned for the TD later.

yup, the announcers gave him big props, showed a slo-mo replay of Roth owning Mr poison-pill

I grew up with Steve Hutch playing city and high school football with him. so i pretty much like to watch him on most plays. HE GOT STOOD UP AND BLOWN BACK by Roth. I didnt know Roth was that strong to do that. There arent many times i've seen that happen to Hutch. Roth may be a nice player.. He looks good against the run..

OUR O-LINE WAS FACING EIGHT AND NINE MAN FRONTS. ANY O-LINE WOULD HAVE TROUBLE RUNNING AGAINST THAT.

we have a huge stable of d-lineman

and we rush for -3 yards

time for some personnel balancing

Roth was able to beat him off the snap and got leverage on him. That's why he was able to stand him up. Hutch is stronger but quickness and leverage can beat strength.

No team in the NFL rotates offensive lineman in and out like they do d-lineman. But maybe you have a new theory you'd like to share? Also, I was under the impression we won today's game, in large part to that HUGE STABLE of d-lineman.

Roth has always been good against the run.

wow I didn't realize that, you are so smart

thanks for the edification and you're right the o-line doesn't need fixing

Saban couldn't draft him fast enough. We're starting to see why. He is a gamer and powerful as hell.
