Like a deer in headlights is what I saw out of Pat White. It took that final game to convince me the Pat White expirement should be officially shut down. I think it's obvious Pat White will never be an elite QB in the NFL, and he's nowhere near a Ronnie Brown when running the wildcat. Not to mention he has a small frame, which may explain why he runs around like a deer in headlights.

I understand Pat White was brought in here to help run the wildcat and give it more of a throwing threat. I don't beleive he was brought in here to be a true #2 QB, rather to be utilized as an option type QB.

In yesterday's game, the coaching staff made the mistake of treating Pat White as a true #2 QB, but at the same time they had no choice. They knew that if they put in Thigpen right away, they could no longer go back to Pat White at QB, per NFL rules. Clearly it was a disaster waiting to happen. Did the coaching staff believe we could run the wildcat for the whole second half?

You could clearly see we had no momentum whatsoever with Pat White at QB. We now know Pat White will never be a true #2 QB and he is nothing special in the wildcat. If anything he is a downgrade to Ronnie Brown in the wildcat because White looks scared when he throws the ball. I hope the coaching staff realize it was a mistake, call him a bust and move on. The Pat White experiment is over.

FRom up high yesterday, Pat looked like an 8th grader compared to the other 21 players on the field. I was optimistic when we drafted him, know he's a young man with great personal qualities, but at this point will concede I was wrong. He was a mistake that makes Teddy look like Hercules and I doubt he'd have the durability to consistently even fight his way off the line as a WR. I wish him well and hope like hell I'm wrong, but seeing is believing - or not.......literally.

I'm afraid that Pat White might have been drafted because Billichik conned our front office by pretending to be interested in him.

I hope they manage to get something of value for him in the off-season. If I never watch that kid give another interview it will be too soon.

Thigpen is clearly not only better right now, but MUCH better than White will ever be. We could have drafted Sintim or Mohamad instead we got boy howdy.

I think he was drafted way too early...

And wasn't a priority...

I think our offense is too complicated -we have players going every which way...
I don't know what level of coaching White gets based on the complexity of so many looks...

JT Sullivan didn't look any more prepared in the Jets VS. Sullivan show I mean Bungals show...

White will be third on the depth chart for years to come - and will receive minimal coaching at the QB position...

White will give way to Thigpen next year in TC and likely be mentored a little by him in a WC look...

The concussion however - It was a freak hit and his injury had little to do with his size but he got caught in the right spot...

I like White on the Team as a project but not at the cost of a no.2 and not at the cost of losing snaps to Henne - but now Thigpen will get those looks next season 3-4 snaps a game - I honestly believe that...

I don't see BP & Sons signing Ronnie

I'm feeling the same way. I was excited by his potential after watching him play at WVU but the Pat White I saw yesterday looks nothing like the Pat White I was used to watching. I just don't think he was ready yesterday he has only practiced in a few package plays and was not ready to be the #2 QB.

A lot of people talk about his stature, I can tell you he has the physical ability to play the position. From what I saw yesterday his problem was a mental one he just wasn't ready to run this offense.

No. In the pro's, he absolutely DOES NOT have the physical ability. He did not show one glimpse of the capability in training camp, preseason, or limited regular season duty. If someone had the ability, they'd at least showcase it in some spurt during that time.

What ability do you expect him to show when they tell him to hand the ball off or run on every play. White is not being used correctly right now. As soon as he steps on the field it's obvious to every defense what is about to happen and it's easily stopped because of that.

I've said it before but you can't expect a rookie quarter back to come out and run the offense when he has handed the ball off all year or ran, and in all had 5 passing opportunities all year.

They need to run him in some other formations like a standard quarter back in practice to make him more useful, otherwise he will go nowhere when he has potential to.

He harldy got any reps playing qb during the offseason...

That is why we had to go out and get Thigpen..

Everyone knew that he was going to be a spot duty type guy..

To make a judgement on him playing this past game is kinda crazy...

The only Reason White played over Thingpen IMO was beacuse of the emergency qb thing...

Pat White can be a productive player he just needs time and reps..In and out of practice

After yesterdays game and this last season, I think we just found the Dolphin QB that sucked worse than Cleo Lemon..

I don't think his limited opportunities is a legitimate thing to complain about when Ronnie Brown has completed two more passes this season than this guy has.

people people we are not judging him only by his performance but his perormance all year. he was drafted too high because he should have never been drafted at all. he has not shown anything at all at being a secret weapon. most of us knew he wasnt drafted to be the qb in miami. the front office did not draft him to be our qb. what they wanted was a player like the jets brad smith. unless pat white puts on about 40 lbs. he wont amount to anything. he will be an overpaid tackling dummy.

That is my point, if you are not going to work with a guy to get better then why keep him when I would put money on another team out there making better use of his abilities.

The kid has shown he can pass the ball very well in college, but this is not college. That same success can be here as well if given the chance, and throwing a guy to the wolves in the biggest game of the year is not a chance to show your abilities, it's a chance to get killed.

Pat White makes you wish for Ray Lucas.

And when you wish for Lucas you know it's a dire and hopeless situation.
