you'll see after this weekend why Culpepper is our guy. you give him time and he will light up the scoreboard

He starts because, whether he 100% or not, he's a better QB then Harrington. To take Daunte out at this stage would be a horrible mistake. He's getting better, and if you think he hasn't done a good job so far.....take a look at his numbers compared to the other QB's returning from injury. (example. Roethlisberger- 0 td's, 5 int's). When the O-Line fully knows there blocking assignments, and C-Pep and the recievers get there timing down. There going to be that explosive offense everyone expected them to be. But with all the variables out there, it's going to take time.

Pepp is too talented not to start performing sooner or later. we've got through three weeks, its coming soon.

All I have to say is he has played better each game. The more he is in there the better he will get. The more comfortable he gets the better the offense. I think the offense is starting to gel. Our line has been terrrible, if anyone thinks Joey would have played better they are nuts and if they think Joey wouldn't have needed time to get use to the offense they are also nuts

HELLO culpepper is way better than joey , and most of the problems are not his fault stop blaming the qb, the line is awful rec's aren't the best except for chambers i still think we need a strong 3rd wideout, i give you culpepper is holding on to the ball too long but that's it, would joey had lead the fins on that final drive against the titans , nope!!!

I support Culpep and i also think he'll get better but i've got a question for you guys and gals on here. How long do we give Daunte if he continues to under-perform?
I think the answer lies in results because i dont think Daunte will be benched if we scrape wins like we did last Sunday. If we start losing (pls no!) then its a no-brainer IMO. Harrington comes in to try and rectify our season.

How much time did we gave Fiedler? The guy had a heart but no Talent. Culpepper has plenty of Talent and has showed some Throw we hadn't seen around in a long time.......

It's true that Pep's not 100% right now but it's ok. We were all shocked about his quick recovery, but that's still a work in progress. He's playing his way back into shape and will get better each week. I don't think benching him would be any good for the team. He's the leader of the offense and it's not like Harrington is Steve Young sitting over there on the bench. So, pessimistic fans need to show some patience because we should be happy to see Pep playing and just wait for him to get back to 100%.

I think Welker has proven he is a hell of a #3 and a first down machine. If someone is gonna help Chambers it is Welker, sooner or later they are gonna have to put a man on him. This will help Chambers and free him from those double coverages.

I dont know about you all.. but I'm getting sick n tired of the term "work in progress".

This is Saban's second year, after the end of last year and all of summer, training camp and pre-season, the team motto should be "all worked out" instead of "work in progress"..

These excuses are a little on the rediculous side.. dont you agree?

As of right now, in some people's opinions, it might be better to bench Daunte until he is mentally and physically prepared for the rigors of the season. I, personally, think for the future and present success of the team its a better idea to keep him in for this experience he's getting right now with the team.

When he is 100% and has chemistry with the team after a couple more weeks (at the most) it will most certainly show.

No I dont, last year he was just making due with the pieces he was given and a few of his own, these are HIS pieces, this year is year 1 of Nick Sabans team IMO so I have no problem with the work in progress term.
