I just read that Baker Mayfield is now a Panther - this was on a JETS forum.
Can this be true? - LOL

When do we find out how long Watson gets suspended? - LOL
What will be the going price for seats in Cleveland? - LOL
 
Don’t like the guy but it’s whatever for me, he doesn’t move my needle

Panthers and Browns make you glad to be a fan of any team possible. Granted. Baker still has some life in him potentially. But desperation in professional sports is getting out of control and being decided by people who have too much money and no brains to be given the ability to cultivate a long time winner.
 
They have 2 former 1st round QBs on their team in Darnold and Mayfield. They should add Rosen and go for the clean sweep. Cleveland Busts.

Yikes.
 
I saw it somewhere this morning as well. Not a bad move tbh by both the club and player

When I get discouraged from our own "Lemming" parade of "the sky is still falling", I can turn to a Jets forum and get great comfort from their tirades and delusional posts.

Then I realize our fan base is "royalty" compared to most "jets" fans. - LOL
And I do not have to put up with a headache afterwards. - LOL
 
Why would Baker give up 3.5 M to get the deal done?
To me, it means he wants to play and that surely says something positive.
Also sounds like Darnold is not panning out. This is the second team that went looking for a QB after signing him.

Relax Ray - Cleveland will be fine. They have Jacoby Brissett to cover Deshaun's projected absence and they have a very good running game.

I read he can make up the 3.5 mil in bonuses.

Can’t blame him for betting on himself. If he performs well, could lead to tens of millions of dollars on a new contract next year.
