I just wanna say 1 thing...

..why were we playing such soft zones and why on 3rd and 12 we would give them a 15 yd cushion?? Why? Coles was open all day long...when our pressure is not on par we need to adjust our DB coverage....

..Not the end of the world losing the game..I would just like to see better coverages from the DB position.
 
Now, I know it's just a game, but that looked alot like wanny-ball out there.

1. Placid offensive play-calling.
2. Mental mistakes (ie. Field Goal and penalties)
3. Defense played good all game except when we needed a stop...
 
i have to agree except with the playcalling, I thought we called some plays that had a chance to work, took a shot or two down feild-- players just have to produce. Also, with the pressure they were getting on us, we had to be a tad more conservative to protect gus.

I definitely agree with #2 and #3. With #1, I did feel like the play-calling was more creative than under Wanny, but not too many of the plays worked. However, it was only game 2 of a long season. If it still looks Wanny-ball several weeks down the road, then I'll be a lot more concerned.
 
I think the whole Dolphin world was wondering where the heck were the dbs. With Pennington's rainbows, we should have been all over his receivers.

I didnt get to see the game but that might be my bigest football pet peev. WHY IN THE WORLD DO YOU GIVE THAT KIND OF CUSHION ON 3RD DOWN!!!! You even see it when there is a blitz on and the db knows the qb will get rid of it quick. I am sure this will be adressed during the week.
 
It seems to me that everytime we are behind on a game and we are doing some kind come from behind effort our defense who has kept us in the game all day long fail to come thru on the other team next possesion.Another thing way too many drop balls and penalties.I love CC but he must made those easy catches right on the numbers.Over all we are playing good football but we are much better than this,I know it!
