Randy Mueller specializes in 2 areas the Cap and the DRAFT BABY! You can believe we will move up or down depending but I would lay my job on the line to say we wont pick at 9 unless Quinn was there and believe me, all needs that can be filled will be filled and we wont be scratching our heads about why did he do that like in the past.

Im freakin' excited felas!

Me too, Im pumped for the draft...this is the best i have felt about the draft in quite a few years. Im more confident this year than i have been since the JJ days. Difference being this year, IMO this staff wont get too caught up in their own guru hype, and will actually make sound football based decisions this year. Let's go FINS!!!
 
We have plenty of drafts to fill up every gap, Now I am concerned about the 1st round, who is it gonna be??
 
I'm excited as well. My hope is the combo of Cam and Mueller will some day be mentioned in the same breath as BB and Pioli.

I really think Mueller is a good GM and am happy he's making the personell decisions now, but I haven't seen anything about him being a cap specialist.
 
I'm pretty excited with what Mueller has done so far and with his track record. The thing is, there still might be a guy that doesn't pan out and we can't get down on him or Cam for picking that way.

Now, if that happens like it was happening, especially with Wanny's picks, then that's a different story. I just don't want to see people bashing them come 3:00pm on the 27th because they took a DE or DT instead of Ginn or Brown or whoever....it's just that you have to have a plan. At #9, you have to go with BPA...that might be Jamaal Anderson or Akoye or even Peterson. I know this board will explode with extreme prejudice if one of these guys are taken instead of us trading up for Quinn, for example. For that reason, I hope that Quinn and Russell are taken 1-2, then the suspense will be gone. Ok, really I hope that Quinn falls to us, but I won't go into convulsions if they choose a DT, DE or LB....

I agree, but there will be those who will want to "end it as all" because of the player taken in the first round was not who they wanted.

The thing I'm happy about is that Saban won't be there picking a head scratcher any longer.
 
oh you can bet your house that some of thse jokers will have a hissy fit . esp if we draft peterson but if we get peterson it wont be a bad thing. now i will pray that we can draft lb patrick willis in rd 1 and i hope we can get qb jeff rowe or kevin kolb in round 3
