Jay could play well enough to win 10 games with this team, I don't have a problem admitting that. Fielder is/was bad because when the playoffs came around, he was at this worst. Good enough to win enough in the regular season, not good enough to go anywhere in the playoffs.

We need a QB better than what Jay was/is. Neither Gus or Feeley seem an improvement over what Fielder offered. Truth hurts. :cry:

Exactly, no thanks to any of them. How about we get away from these career backup's and start thinking about next season and the draft or finding a way to get a legitimate starting QB on this team.

And I bet you he would. He is better than what you have at QB! Especially when your 0-line looks to continue where they started of last year. Right now you have 2 guys which seems to have their shoe laces tide to each shoe.

Perhaps they should start cut blocking. That might make them more successful.

Jay would limit this offense just as he limited Norv's offense. His inability to throw the ball down the field, due to his extremely weak arm, would be something the offense could not overcome.

Gus has a much better arm than Jay, and IMO, is a much better quarterback than Jay.

That aint saying much. You know, Gus has been a journeyman QB for a reason. He stinks! He is a backup, pure and simple, just like Fiedler.
