It soudns negative but are we really that good.

We did end teh season 6-0 but look who we beat

Raider-s Bad team this season
Bills- Bad team and we won in the last 6 seconds, we won theg ame by 1 point
Chargers- good team but we only won by 2
Jets- Horrible team and we only won by 4 and almost lost it at the end
Titans- another bad team, that we beat
Pats- we almost lost to the second team

I love Miami and I live in CT and I watched teh game ceneter every week. I think we have a solid group of players and talent but Im concerned that we are all getting a little too ahead of our selves.

Its just my opinion, crtique be all u want, but I'm just saying that lets calm down on this year before it even starts.

Nothing negative to critique. We do have a lot of holes to fill. But following this FA period and the Draft, lets re-assess those holes and go from there.

But if we are a average team, we should have lost atleast 1 of those games.

OK so here's some loses:

Buffalo (We fumbled inside the 20 on last possesion of game)

New England (stalled at the 6yrd line w/ first and goal)

Atlanta (INT in endzone in final seconds to end the game)

so what's your point?

Raiders and Chargers were both road games, win a game on the road in the NFL its a good win. Bills and Jets were division games, beat 2 division rivals, both good wins. NE may have had the reserves in, but sure they would have liked have pulled it out. Could have held that over the Fins heads then, "We beat you with our 2nd team.". Tennesse not that good, but still played hard. A win is a win, rather its by 30 or by 1. All counts the same.

Winning is winning... I know the teams we played weren't great nd we didn't win pretty, but we won 6 in a row. Of all the teams in the NFL, we are the only ones that can say that right now. A win is a win... no matter how pretty it is or by how little the margin.

Outstanding evaluation that is reality

We are not as good as that 6-0 run and we are not as bad as that Browns game.

Like previously said we have to see where all the pieces fall then we can make an educated guess...then when a few important players get injured:boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo:

So what you're saying is the "good" teams only beat "good" teams? Indy plays 2 games againt both Houston and Tennessee.

they were all pro teams and have pro players(San Diego in Diego?? Drew Brees, A. Gates LT come on!!), besides the last game(pats) we earned every game!!! Don't be a downer bro!!! We are realistic I am not saying Super Bowl next year, but I sure as hell like the way we are heading!!!

As far as the last Pats game, the phins were beating the first string pansies when they decided to take out Brady. Brady did nothing that first quarter and a half. :tantrum:

I agree with the original poster that a lot of people are getting ahead of themselves, but you can't really expect much more from a fan site. I will say that it's nice to see a lot of optimism for a change.

More important than the results of those last 6 games, at least to me, was the way the team played and fought. I really haven't seen that kind of character out of a Dolphins squad in a long time. When was the last time they won that many games in December, and quite a few road games at that? Those are the things that have me excited for next season. For once, they actually ended a season strong, possibly planting the seeds for something big in the future.

We are a good (not great) improving team. Realistically, I believe that puts us just above middle of the pack. In today's NFL that gets you playoffs. I'm not sure who you are referring to when you say people are getting ahead of themselves so I can't say whether or not I agree with you.
