I know it's super duper early but...

I get the enthusiasm but lI'm far from ready to assess Dennis Hickey's performance and abilities as a GM.

After this offseason we'll have a better idea and feeling for it.

I know what I feel should happen, Albert is a good start and Byrd would be a nice second move.

I did prefer Monroe to Albert for a few reasons (Age, durability), but the main thing is I felt we did have to come away with one of them.

I'm hoping the Dolphins look at the other KC guards as well (Asamoah and Schwartz) as they had a really good line last year.

Because Ireland was always so active this early on right? Please. I have seen the Dolphins be mentioned in the media for showing interest in major free agents in the last day or 2 than ever before.

And? What exactly does that even mean or count for at this point? Congratulations. The media is talking about the Dolphins because they are showing interest and being active at the onset of free agency. In other news, water is wet. Of course they are going to talk about it. They are talking about EVERY potential move being made by EVERY team right now. That's what they do. Should Hickey be granted some sort of merit badge for being active in free agency early? Ireland did the same thing last year. The team has plenty of money to spend. Last year Ireland knew he was in a fight for his job so he went nuts and back loaded all the contracts. Hickey knows he has to put up or get out soon so he is using the resources available to him.

Where is the news or big deal here again?
