There are A lot of people on here that have zero perspective on football. Im thrilled landry is doing great this year and hartline has seemed to be nonexistent in this offense, but lets not forget that landry has been primarily a slot receiver going up against 3rd DBs. Hartline in 2012 was our main #1 with nobody to compliment him and whatd he do? Just had his best season and had over 1000yds. Last year with wallace still had over a 1000. If we moved hartline to slot, he'd have just as good, if not better results than landry.

Lets just get this understood though, im not bashing landry. All im saying is that all the hartline or dolphin player haters in general need to put thibgs in perspective and know the difference between lining up in the slot is much different than the outside

True but as a Hatline fan he is getting paid 5 million to beat #2 DB. Last week they used him better.

His production hasnt dropped because he isnt good anymore, its because he is a possession receiver in a speed offence.

Landry is 10 times as tough as Hardline. Breaking tackles and making guys miss like Hartline could only dream of doing.

Personally, I think the offense should go back to running through Hartline.

When Hartline was making all those DYNAMIC yards on pure talent and great contested catches and awesome YAC, the offense was top five in the league, easy.

Hartline forced double and triple coverage at times, really opening it up for Bess and Legadu Naanee and other memorable WRs. Put TONS of pressure on the D.

And when it came to the red zone, Hartline just bossed out. No one could cover him in the red zone. He was so unbeatable in the red zone that he cracked double digit TDs after five years in the league. That's freakin impressive.

Hartline is just a 1000 yard machine, that's all. He deserves an even fatter contract next year. No one can cover him. When offenses Key on Wallace and Hartline gets favorable runs down the field, he's open 26.4 percent of the time. That's major ballin'.

We need to fire Lazor and re-hire Sherman, pick up Bess from retirement, and once again run the offense through Hartline.

Miami would be easy 8-8 or 7-9 Super Bowl contenders if we did that.

Lining up in the slot is different from lining up on the outside, after all.

Boo Fuc*ing hoo, I could care less, the team is winning and that's all that matters. And to your point....Landry blows Hartline away. Hartline will be out of the NFL while Landry is throwing up 1000 yard seasons.

lol
the buffalo game was the first game this season that brian "hit the deck" hartline decided to play for some YAC. it took a nationally televised game to get him to man up.

i am disappoint.

He is a playmaker, Hartline is not. Very very simple.

Amazes me that they don't let Hartline return kicks and punts because the more he gets his hands on the ball the better. His ability at finding the end zone is uncanny. Hell we should be running reverses with him and give him the option to throw. I love me some Brian Hartline!

first hartline is not a one, and not even a 2. laundry actually stays on his feet and fights for yards and actually catches with his hands. I like hartline but the guy is a body catcher who falls over grass

hope this is sarcasm bc hartline has 11 tds in 5 1/2 seasons.

I like Hartline but come on....

I like landry a lot and think he will end up being a Derrick Mason or (young) Anquan Boldin. The only question I have does that "tough" edge continue to grow or does he settle at being a "garden" variety dependable hands guy.

I really haven't criticized Hartline, people here do far more than they should (or he deserves), but Hartline needs to be the guy to catch everything thrown at him and not only perfect passes, we know his other limitations and if questionable hands enter the mix he becomes a cut-able guy.
