I just wanted to come back and say great game. I was down and had almost given up until right before the half. Everyone wanted to know if we could come back from a deficit, and you guys really put it to us. Luckily for us, we responded and didn't fold. I see only a great season for the Dolphins. Don't give up. They need you in their corner. Take care.

Great game. I'll be pulling for the Saints as well the rest of the year. Unless we meet again in the post season!

Thanks man. I am sure you will understand what I am saying since your a saints fan when I say that you just become "Numb" to stuff like this. After you scored at halftime, I deep down inside knew that we were in trouble and we were still up 14 points.

I tell people that being a phins fan is like being an abused animal. Eventually you just get used to the beatings and at some point you being to wonder if you care at times anymore but your inner fandom MAKES you continue to care.

Kind of sounds like us. One of my daughters' boyfriend is a huge Saints fan. He says that you don't know loyalty unless you're a Saints fan.

thanks for being classy and all, but i dont no where you only see a great season for the dolphins. this team has let me down so many times in my young life, and just when u think there going to do something great, they break your hearts again. thanks for giving us optimisim, and im also really optimistic, but i just dont see how we bounce back from such a devestating loss.

I wanted to say more than just the simple "thanks" click. This is the nicest thing any Saints fan could say after the whooping your team delivered. I've had a lot of respect for the Saints since they started their turnaround with Brees, but this game showed you guys are really for real. I was really peeved and hurt by our utter collapse against your boys. I wholeheartedly agree with much of the criticism lobbed at our team and coaching staff. I also agree that we punched hard and fast at times, but ultimately ran out of gas, much like we did against the Colts. No, we are NOT ready for the big time, but we do show promise.

I applaud you sir, as your comments really made me feel a lot better about this loss. We've now gone toe to toe with two of the best teams in the NFL and almost won. That says a lot about us, even though we suck a lot of eggs in many aspects of the game right now. It says this team can and will become something of a thorn in the side of every team, even if it means we only end up being a spoiler for someone else's playoff dreams. We are NOT a team to be looked past. If you play the Fins, you better bring your A game or we're gonna knock your teeth down your throat.

I agree with the other Dolfans here that a great season is probably not in the cards for us. I know we probably played better than most Saints fans think, but this is not the first loss we've had where we've had a lot of positive plays, but the plays we failed to make and the other bad plays we made prevented us from winning. There are a lot of good things going on here, no doubt about it. But the weaknesses in our roster, like WR and the secondary, can only be masked for so long, and they require the rest of the team to play a practically perfect game to overcome. We did that last year against many average or worse teams, but we haven't done that this year against a very tough schedule.

I see a bright future in the cards, no doubt about it. But a lot of us knew that this was going to be a difficult year, and its proving to be just that.

You guys were the BEST team we played all year. You pushed us to the limit....myabe past the limit. It always sucks after a loss......trust me...we've been losers for decades....not years......decades. You guys have a lot of promise. Nobody can run with you. You are honestly not "there" yet...but do not give up on your team. We never have on our guys even though the majority of the time we've sucked. Just stick with it. You guys have everything in place. A young QB , a defense that has some vets and a very young secondary that once it gets it's legs about them and gels will be really good. Just stick with your guys and hope your coaches make some good adjustments and moves and we'll do our best to take out the pats for you later this year.

Thank you. There was one annoying saints fan here but most were fine and I hope you make the SB (with at least one loss on your record)

You Saints fans should know one thing. Even with a couple people shouting doom and gloom, half the forum here is going to be figuring out why we are going undefeated the rest of the way and securing the top seed in the AFC.

Myself, I'm just here to enjoy some football. The playoffs are a pipe dream this year, but they were last year as well.

Nice post. Saints are for real, I'd like to see them in the SB. Good luck.

So true....:(

I can't remember who, or on what thread, but one Dolphins fan said that even if the Saints win they will know they were in a fight. How true those words were, and are. We as saints fans relized it when y'all came out and socked it to us right from the start. And from what I've seen of the Saints players, they also realize they were in a brawl. The poster was spot on!

now maybe we can borrow a wr or 2 for the rest of the year?

Maybe the problem is you set your expectations too high. We played the best team in the NFL. This is a young team, a team that is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD YET. We are rebuilding, one win against the JETS and people on this board think we are a playoff caliber team who shouldn't be losing.

Now maybe people on this board will be a tad more humble.
