Just wonderin'.

Not that I think he could handle it or anything.

Closing time ... you don't have to go home but you can't stay here ...

Coaching requires 16 to 18 hour days....Dan was used to making $2 million a year doing a Sunday PreGame show. Sorry, but Dan isn't going to be a HC.

but he not making 2 mil a year doing that anymore...

anyway.. Dan is not HC material.

i question the supposition that a HC has to work these long hours. The OC and DC need to work the hours. The HC should be evaluating what they bring him and managing the staff below him. That may take some time in the first couple years but it should diminish YoY if you are effective in management. Honestly teams over complicate things. In general the coaches are stupid (there is a reason they are football coaches guys). Frankly I see a lot of stupid coaches. That said, Danny is no HC. He's not a smart guy at the end of the day. He's was a prodigy in one narrow aspect of the game.

No chance this will happen. And even less of a chance that it would be successful.

Very few all-time great athletes make good coaches....it is because they are perfectionists, and have little patience. Remember how Dan would scream at receivers who messed up a route? It is also hard for these great athletes to be good teachers, because it just came natural to them.

You think you could lead an organization of say about a 75 males between the ages of 21 to 35 that are frequently multi millionaires? There's a reason the starting salary for these guys is about 3 mil a year.

Incredibly naive and uninformed post
