Can you believe that *** Randolph brought in Looper again in the 9th, if we lose this game he should be fired!!!!! My goodness man!:fire:

Mod Edit: Do not violate the Profanity filter. WB3

My god he sucks!!! 5-5 in the 9th now!

Randolph needs to let someone else use the pitching staff!

Trade Looper or even give him to the Yankees!

NJFINSFAN jump on the PHILLIES bandwagon....we gonna get the Wild Card or better yet the NL East Title if we keep whupping on Bobby Cox's Braves. :)

The only baseball I care about is my sons HS team I'm coaching now! The same one Randolphs kid use to play for :yell:

This is my opinion on that statement.

Well, the Phillies are actually a real team, as opposed to an insta-franchise. And they're named after a city that's named after me. So, go Phils!

Jeez, what a collapse, though. From half a game out in the wild card to this. At least they didn't swap a top prospect for an end of the rotation starter, this year, though. The Mets should be much better in 2006. They will have cleared some salary space to actually work on the bullpen. Hopefully they'll get good value for Cameron and give Diaz RF full time.

The amazing thing is that Looper's stats for the year are pretty good, it's just that he gags every time someone's paying attention. Strange phenomenon.

Insta-franchise? You mean the Marlins?

And what makes them a real team? They've won one World Series (1980) in what, 90-100 years of existence? They've had guys like Abreu and Rollins and Burrell and Wagner and all these players and they haven't made the playoffs since when, 1993?

They very well might make the playoffs this year, but to say that they deserve it more is a ludicrous statement. The team that deserves it is the team that wins the Wild Card. You can't blame the players for not having thier franchise be old or not drawing fans.

i think he ment the mets

God, it's fun to get you guys riled up. ;)

(And no, I don't really believe the Marlins are an insta-franchise (the D-Backs, on the other hand...), not now that they've been around 12 years and have 2 World Championships. But it doesn't change the fact that I can't stand them.)

Arent they still paying Mo Vaughn? That was a genius signing there. The Mets and the Knicks might as well be the same team. Maybe Isiah can ruin, I mean run the Mets too.

Oh, Phil, don't think I'm riled up. Just know that I'm right.

The D-Backs sure have an interesting way of building a team, don't they?

Marlins are now crying poor again. Saying if they don't make the playoffs they will be FORCED (yes FORCED) to trade Delgado before next season.

I'm sick of the Marlins and their cry baby attitude of going from BIG market to SMALL market depending on whether they win or lose. It's such a joke at this point.

Gammons said they might have to do it to prevent the Mets from getting Manny Ramirez. Why is everyone only quoting half of what he wrote on this one?
