Some of you people make me laugh. I mean, what did you expect? In the offseason when we got D.C, i guess some of you heard we got J.C. Because to win the Super Bowl this year would be nothing short of a miracle. You read that Miami has revamped there offensive line. So, maybe it was devamped. Jerry Rice didn't die and his soul didn't possess Marty Booker's body. Our new O and D cordinaters were previous head coaches, which means they were previously fired and now demoted. None of the names in the secondary ring a bell. So why is everyone frustrated? Because S.I told you they were going to the Super Bowl? Get over it. This team is under a lot of pressure and i for one think they'd play a lot better without it. It's unrealistic to think in his second year as head coach, he'd make the SB. Saban's a great coach. But this city and it's fans are either going to give him a heart attack or drive him out of town. And that would be a shame. So stop, with your " i want it now, now, now." And you might live long enough to see Miami become a dynasty. Or atleast win one SB. This team will be good, give it time, you cry babies.

I agree, except for the part about Jerry Rice possessing Marty Booker. THAT REALLY DID HAPPEN! Have you seen Booker's dance moves?

Regardless of what my or anybody else's expectations are or were, I am sure Saban himself didn't expect the Dolphins to be 1-3 and playing the way they have been playing.:fire:

Do you seriously think that the fans are influencing Saban and the organization that much?? Again, we are labeled as having horrible fans....I'm suprised Bellicheck is still coaching after the Pats got booed off the field a few weeks ago by their horrible fans....a world full of cry babies...sad

Every true fan wants to win "right now" However, the more intelligent fans realize building a good team takes time and it is likely there will be some frustrations along the way. Stop worrying about everybody else and just enjoy the building process you see taking place. I wish we were 3-1 instead of 1-3, but I still see some positives for the Dolphins future, so, as a true fan, I never give up hope.

Ive been waiting since the 80's to get back to the big one. Another couple of seasons wont hurt i guess but damn its frustrating isnt it?

You couldn't have said it any better. With you 100 percent...............GO FINS

Wow, who would have thought that expecting the Dolphins not to be eliminated from the playoff chase by October would be considered "unrealistic expectations"? Or that it was too much to ask that they actually stomp the doormats of the league like Houston and Tennessee instead of getting into dogfights with them where the outcome is uncertain until the final few plays?

Belicheck was a former coordinator and coach. So was Haslett, Tice, and all of the new coaches this year. Some of them are having success. So what does that have to do with them being employed elsewhere at some point? It doesnt mean you cant have success elsewhere

Yeah, very unrealistic to think that the Dolphins should win more than one game against teams who have COMBINED for a grand total of ONE win outside of games against the Dolphins.

I didn't expect to win the Super Bowl this year. I was thinking play-off contention, and hopefully 10 wins and a wild card, which I don't think was unrealistic. But barely beating/losing to the worst teams in the league is unacceptable.

Amen! I think most realistic Fins fans had hopes of getting back to the playoffs after several years of drought. And it's been 20+ years since we've even been in a Superbowl. It's not unreasonable for a team's fans to want their teams to do well. I think it's also very reasonable for fans to expect their teams to try and improve the team each year. What has frustrated fans more than anything this year is that we've seemed to get worse, not better since last year. I'm hoping they improve as the season goes along too, but when we struggle against some of the worst teams in the NFL, it's not saying much for your team's status.
