This guy seems to be a good leader, very productive and very smart. If he last till our pick I'd like to take him but I'm not sure about al the other QB's left.I'm still thinking we'll go defence. Maybe Castillo if he's there or the safety from Oklahoma.

Ozzy rules!!

I'll pass...no more good QB's left...take Vincent Jackson out of Northern Colorado who will be a great receiver or tight end.....my other choice would be Nugent of Ohio State.

yeah, I'd take Frye in a second if he was there at 46......here's hoping

BTW, there aren't many teams in front of us that absolutely need a QB, so there is a chance

Vincent Jackson is a beast. I saw him play the past two years against FAU. He put up huge numbers against our secondary which is pretty strong. That said, I don't know if i'd take a WR next. I'd look either O-line or QB if Frye is there.

Would you take McPhereson that early? IMO there is no way he will be left by the 3rd round...whether you thikn he is worth it or not he has done a GREAT job of creating interest. So would you take him at 46?

If Frye is gone...yes for me

If McPherson was from Nebraska or somewhere like that, nobody on here would be talking about him. He's the most overrated prospect on this board.

After Ricky, Phillips, Sammie Smith and Cecill Collins I had enough of those kind of guys.I'll suport whatever Nick does but I hope we don't take that guy.

Frye has been up against inferior competition. Pass. Go with Walter or (choke) David Greene.

Mark my words, 5 years from now we will be sorry we missed out on Alex Smith. :shakeno: I'm just glad Saban didn't get the chance to pass him up like wannabe & Drew Brees.

How in the WORLD is the MAC still being called "inferior competition"????

Leftwich, Pennington, Roethlisberger....what more do you want? These are all MAC guys who are great yougn QB's in the league. Saying a QB from the MAC has faced inferior competition is IMO ignorant to the last 3-4 years of drafting. Look at what the MAC has done for QB's.

how did we miss out on somebody who wasn't even there when we picked?

I have read a few things saying Saban likes Frye. If he is there I think he's the pick. As far as inferior competition goes, why don't you ask Chad Pennington, Byron Leftwitch, and Ben Roethlisberer about that.

None of them are "Great". Roethlisberger probably will be though. Pennington and his Noodle arm is on IR every year and Leftwich hasn't done anything noteworthy.

I wanna see Frye most at 46, then Chris Henry or Brodney Pool if he's there. I'm so happy with Brown though, it's not as big of a deal to me.

Haha Vincent Jackson at #46 would be AWESOME. I would have 2/4 of my Bandwagon picked and still have a shot at Walter in the 3rd.

Safeties always seem to fall so we have a shot at Pool.If they're both there then I'd take Frye but wouldn't cry if we got Pool.
