Out of the last 10 assistants who have been brought in or retained by the Dolphins, the oldest are 45 years old. Here's the ages of the assistants from oldest to youngest:

George Edwards- 45
Lou Anarumo - 45
Kacy Rodgers - 42
Darren Rizzi - 41
Darren Krein - 40
Dave Fipp - 37
Dan Campbell - 35
Chris Mosley - 33
Phil McGeoghan - 32
Zac Taylor - 29

What I love is so many of these guys from college means we show have great insight in the draft, and our UDAs should be interesting

i gotta feeling that this staff is going to do a lot better in there first year, than what it took the other staff 4 years

I just like that we have a fair number of Assistant position coaches. We have Asst. QB, Asst. OL, Asst. WR, Asst. LB, Asst. S&C and Asst. ST coaches. Only ones that don't have Assistants (so far) are RB, TE, DL, and DB. But the coaches at each of those positions are pretty young. Anarumo is 45, Rodgers is 42, Campbell is 35 and I not know how old Nixon is.

There are a couple of coaches (59,65) that are playing next week in the super bowl that might disagree with you.

The effectiveness of the assistant or position coaches is more important than age.

I still don´t consider Eli elite, but maybe their QB play has something to do with it... Just maybe...
