I Like The Way This Gary Kid Plays

That one play alone showed me everything I needed to see. There was NO hesitation. Came up, helmet on the football, picture perfect tackle. If all of our guys played like that, we'd be in great shape. Don't know much about him but I do know there's no hesitation in the guy. On defense, with our front four, give me seven guys with that (no-hesitation) type of play and we'll be good. :d-day:

Maybe he can become our next reshad. That would be a huge boost in a couple years time. Reshad is probably my favorite fin, and seems like every game I get that reaffirmed with a great play or three. Gary has lots of that fire it seems, we for sure need that.

You think there is any consideration of moving Aikens back to CB? probably not wasn't a good fit there originally.Thomas will become the nickle backup Im thinking behind Bobby although they may interchange the two apparently.

Part of me wishes we still had Grimes but i agree with the dismissal because his wife was a huge distraction and nuts. Another NFL mid level CB would be sweet cause right now a #1 receiver is going to destroy us.

We may have 5, but only two of those are worth keeping, reshad being one of those. We dont have anything but reshad at safety that cant, or shouldnt be replaced. Gary has shown to be good run support also which would be exellent next to reshad whos also a run stopper and god knows, we need to stop the run.

He wont be on our p/s but about 5 minutes until belechek scoops him up.

Grimes is definitely on the decline, but yeah, he would look real good at CB2 right now.

In todAys NFL he's just too small for the boundary. There is just way to many big WRs these days. And in our division, Marshall, Decker, and Watkins, owned him on the daily.

Aikens weighs 218 now and is built more like a strong safety than a CB

Aikens isn't that great of a defender. Gary should add a few pounds of muscle and become a small LB like Deion Jones.
