Everyone here is talking such CRAP about JT...and im sure if you guys were in his position you would be doing the EXACT SAME THING...they cut zach without even thinking twice about it...they showed him no respect and they definitely didnt care about loyalty or all the GREAT seasons he gave us...

everyone is so quick to say that JT is a hypocrite or even going as far as saying he is a cancer to the team...the guy is just doing BUSINESS after all isnt that what the NFL is? isnt that the same reason they gave zach for kicking him out the door? the only difference with zach is that they labeled it as a "cap casualty" but the way they have handled JT makes him look like the bad one...they forced out zach because he is not a "parcells guy" and he doesnt fit the defense and now they are forcing JT to leave too...maybe he has thought about leaving and i dont blame him...

everyone here knows that we are 2-3 years away from being competitive...who knows it could take longer and frankly JT doesnt have that time...he wants to go where he can win and that is fine with me...like i said if you were in his shoes you would do the exact same thing...how many times is he going to stick around for another "rebuilding" year....we've been rebuilding since marino left...every year its a new coach, its a new system and JT has NEVER ONCE complained and played his HEART out every year...giving us a pro bowl year after year...he still made the pro bowl last year even with our record...lets face it guys the last 4 years we have gone 20-44 that is not an easy pill to swallow, not if you are a fan and especially not when you are on the team playing 100% week in and out...

all this bashing has gone on for way too long...and i honestly think its ridiculous...i dont understand how people can all of a sudden be so ungrateful to a player who has done so much for the dolphins...and not only the dolphins but for south florida...i would just love to know if this was marino would you all be acting the same way? i HIGHLY doubt that...no wait i change my mind most of you out there probably would because thats how the majority of dolphin fans are...we are ungrateful and unsupportive group of fans and not only towards the dolphins but to all the other major sports teams down here...if we arent winning no one goes...and that is SAD...

im not here to change anyones mind because of course everyone has their own opinion but maybe some people just need to slow down and think a little because they all jump the gun and start saying some of the most ridiculous things...and the first ones to make a show about everything is the stupid south florida MEDIA...they get everyone going all crazy and it they just seem to focus on the NEGATIVE...put yourselves in JTs shoes and think if you were on a team that didnt want you because it seems thats how parcells, ireland, and sparano are going about it although they would never admit that....what would you do? Youd definitely be trying to find out what teams are interested...

and theres only one last thing i want to say...if JT finally does get traded we better HOPE he doesnt go to a division rival or someone we have to go up against because you know what he is capable of and he will definitely remind us what we have in him as a player and we will look like a bunch of IDIOTS like we have in the past with other players...(wes welker anyone? even one legged daunte made us look stupid even if he only did good that one game)

I've been supporting JT all along, but skipping out on mandatory training camps is not acceptable. He is under contract to play with Miami; being paid millions, he should obligate that contract.

JT is a scum, if this teaches you anything, as a fan you should never care about the players at all because they just care about the money and what the next step to make more money that they dont need, the uniform is the only thing that matters not who is inside it

Zach publicly thanked the new regime for the classy way that they RELEASED him.

They didn't have to do that, most teams would not have let a player under contract, that still has some trade value, just walk away to any team he wants...

His first obligation should be to football, specifically to the team to which he is contractually obligated.

Oh, and if we trade him, we would be able to determine where he would go. Unless he has some sort of 'right to refuse' written into his contract (which I assume he doesn't, b/c I've heard nothing about it). So, no concern about him going to a rival... unless we just cut him, which would be ridiculous. If they're gonna do that, then send him to some NFC team for a 6th or 7th that can be upgraded to a higher pick

he is a pretty boy, he is undercontract so end his career now and let him go act

JT is a scum, i am sick and tired of rich athletes crying about how hard it is on them because they are on losing teams, he should rot in hell

What a bunch of nonsense! Zach was not cut b/c he's not a Parcells guy? Zach was cut b/c he has injury problems (concussions). You don't pay big bucks to a player that's on the sidelines. That's why he was a "salery cap" casualty. JT on the other hand brought all of this on himself. Parcells likes players who are smart and have a passion for the game. JT is trying to start another career. If that is the case then let him do it on someone else's football team. He's getting paid way too much money to be missing workouts and camp. With the money he's being paid he should be 110% dedicated to football. Parcells does not like celebrity football players. I agree with him. JT is acting like a baby. He's angry BP won't kiss his ***. JT has been a great player for the Fins, but he has become a premadonna. The fans have every right to be angry with him b/c he has turned his back on this team and on them. It's true the Dolphins have been in disarray for years, but now we have a group running this team that has a proven track record for winning. If JT is not on board then all I have to say is SEE YA! JT can and will be replaced. BP is sending a very important message that you obviously don't get...No one player is greater than the TEAM. Be a team member or leave.

...i would just love to know if this was marino would you all be acting the same way? i HIGHLY doubt that...no wait i change my mind most of you out there probably would because thats how the majority of dolphin fans are...

Dan Marino would never ever quit on this team. Dan could have gone to play for the Minnesota Vikings after 17 years in Miami, but he decided to retire instead. Dan never "went Hollywood" on this team....he made his guest appearance in Ace Ventura and did his Isotoner gloves ads, but he was a Miami Dolphin's football player first,,,not a dancer or an actor. Sorry, but JT is not 1/4 the guy Dan Marino was and I loved and appreciated what JT did here. Now JT can go be a movie star or whatever he wants to do...I could care less. The way JT has handled this is pretty classless and I have lost most of my respect for him.

as of right now the training camps are not mandatory so he is not breaking any rules and all the former "U" players skip out on this portion of their camps as well and no one is having a heart attack about that right?

of course zach said nice things about them what else is he going to say? he has a chance to contend for a super bowl he was more than happy to jump aboard the cowboys...hes happy they gave him the chance to do it but they basically dumped him and covered it as a cap casualty...although you know hes not a "parcells guy" like everyone reported...so what does that tell you? parcells probably didnt want him...

i think its dumb when athletes want more money and no where has jason asked to get more money he simply wants a chance to play for a contending team like any athlete nearing the end wants to do...dont you think marino would have given anything to try to get that ring? he says it all the time...why is it any different for JT?

they actually did Zach a favor out of courtesy by letting him go to any team he wanted to go to.....JT's wrong...stop defending him so much,is not like he's gonna pay your rent for you.

Ozzy rules!!

ok then so wheres all the ricky bashers? because if you guys are gonna use one way of thinking for one player you might as well use it for others...you want to say that JT is quitting on this team and lose all "respect" for him...then you gotta do the same for ricky why the double standard? ricky quit on his team in 2004 because he didnt want to face the punishment for a failed drug test....then he comes back only to fail another one and be suspended for another year...then after a second chance he fails ANOTHER drug test...talk about abandoning your teammates
