I know this is a year too late but I am so glad he is back in the box. I love his passion...and alhtough at time he can be ramble on like my grandfather telling old war stories....I love his energy. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I enjoy hearing Jim call the games, He has pure Passion for the dolphins. Wish they would get rid of the big mouth Joe Rose and bring in the real talent of that station the Big O!!!

I love Mad Dog as well. He is a great color guy. Even though they claim Joe Rose technically is the color guy in this group of three guys. Mandich still fills that role famously.

Ya Cefalo's personality definately is different then the other two, but he is a good play by play guy.

If you're hungry for straight talk, the Mad Dog has always been the guy you can rely on, although just like everyone else, he's not always on target. I listen to him on QAM whenever I'm able and would have voted for him in a heartbeat on that stickies credibility thread CK initiated a week or so ago.

I like too listen too the mad dog with the sound down on the tv. I like Greise and all but I really like too hear what the mad dog has too say. He is Mr Dolphin as far as I am concerned. This Thursday I will at least have him on the radio with no tv.

I, too, love the Mad Dog. Cefalo would be fine but he has this habit of saying " (Insert name of qb) looks downfield, throws, got a receiver." Sometimes "got a receiver" means it is a completed pass, but other times he will pause and then add "incomplete, caught out of bounds, etc. I'm never sure whats going on with the passing game with him. I liked the guy (can't remember his name) who used to do the play by play with Mad Dog. They were a good match.

Your thinking of Bill Zimpher. Very good play by play guy, I loved him.

Back in the day, Larry King used to do color for the Fins..... This was about 50 years before the birth of his current wife....

Zimpfer did and so did Howard David. I personally liked the David/Mandich pairing. But nobody beats Rick Weaver. Zimpfer was ok though. I'm liking this booth they have now. Cefalo is a PBP guy with some playing experience with the Phins and at Penn State, Joe Rose and Mandich of course have played also and they all seem to be geniunely rooting for the Dolphins, but at the same time are critical. It's a good team.

I remember Rick Weaver. Not so much David.
Back then I watch mostly on tv.
Now I listen mostly on the radio and the watch the tv with the volume down.
