I dont get why some of you hate when crowder and porter open their mouth. First of all, its FOOTBALL. trashtalking is part of the game and I love hearing what they have to say. They fire up the defense and get in the opponents head, I love that.

Second of all, its funny as hell. And its not like its two bench players talking all this smack, both of these guys are big contributors to our defense.

Well I will disagree with you.... WHY? Number one if you wanna talk (which i think is for punks anyway) do it on the field not in the press. You just look like a clown. I played the game usually the ones that talk are doing the least on the field. Porter and crowder both talk is it a coincedence that I think both are replacable and that our backups to me are better...porter has done nothing, crowder got outplayed by his backup last week. So you can love it all you wont but you will never convince me to like it I DESPISE IT AND CAN'T WAIT FOR BOTH CHOWDER AND PORTER TO GO BYE BYE

I've got no problem with talking smack.... as long as you can back it up. Porter's grand total of 2.5 sacks doesn't leave much room for trash talk. Porter is nothing more than a ghetto version of Foghorn Leghorn.

I dont like trash-talking at all.God forbid my son from growing up w/ the knowledge that "put-downs" are a positive thing.

Its not just in my eyes...in ANY situation....

I wouldn't mind if what Crowder & Porter said was clever and they backed it up. Otherwise it's like a couple of bimbos on Springer swinging their purses.

Why not just keep quiet like the Pats do? It has worked for some time and when they do lose they don't have to answer for running their mouths. Just do your talking on the field because it does no good during the week except make you look like an idiot. You can call BB a cheater or belicheat or whatever you kids nowadays do, but the system he has put up in NE works. He makes sure his team is quiet and never stirs the pot because it hardly ever helps the situation.

Crowder's the cleverest mofo this side of London...wherever that is.

I too have a son on the way and I would never want him to think this is ok its crap if you ask me. I am a fighter (boxing and mma not a bar room brawler haha) and one thing I love about the sport is you don't have to talk at all cause your fists very clearly speak for themselves. I always had that mentality on the field too. If I tell someone I am gonna hit you so hard your momma is gonna feel it or something stupid like that but everytime I hit the guy he just gets up like no big deal I look foolish. Now if I say NOTHING but I light the guy up and he takes a min to get up that is waaaaaaay cooler and speaks for itself. I just think all that talking is crap and I am telling you people that talk a lot usually talk because there actions are not louder than their words all bark and no bite...not sayin its always that way but sure is a lot...just shut up and play

The thrash talk isnt for the fans its for the opposing team..half the time they ask the guy these questions to get him to say something wild.

Dolphins are 17th in overall defense and have allowed 177 points on the season which is the 9th most in the lead. This trash talking isn't firing up this defense and they aren't getting in anyone's head apparently. Our defense is great against the run because it's rare a team runs the ball because they know they can attack downfield. Therefore, our defense ranks 21st overall against the pass.

Yeah, they're not two bench players but they're damn sure playing like it.

Porter has 12 tackles on the season. I love the dude as a player but c'mon...you gotta step it up.

There's a reason why Zach Thomas is one of the most beloved players in Dolphin history. Dude played hard on every single play and never gave up. He played with class and respect. I love players who let their game speak.

trash talking has been around since the inception of the pigskin and will be here till the end.if its not porter and crowder it will be someone else. there will always be someone in the locker room with a voice. you cant expect everyone to be a mime
