I Love the Ted Ginn, Jr. Pick - Predict He'll Be Our Best WR Since The Mark Bros.

While I'm not sure about the prediction of Ginn becoming the next best receiver since Clayton and Duper, I'm getting over my initial disappointment of not taking Quinn and think that Ginn should do pretty well for us. I also think Cameron and Mueller will go for QB in the second round, since they probably thought that Quinn didn't represent much added value over those quarterbacks available in the 2nd round.

That being said, I will be very disappointed if we don't draft a quarterback at all.

I hate the pick. He's a return type receiver. You don't spend a #1 on a return type receiver. Quinn and Hall were available - MUCH BETTER picks.

ONE VIDEO CLIP MEANS NOTHING!!!!!! All the guys in this draft have a ton of video clips were they look amazing. This is going to go down as one of the worst picks in history, this guy will be a BUST for being a 1st round pick. All of us are always wondering why is it that places like ESPN and others never say anything good about us(if they say anything at all). Well folks, now you know why. I am so pissed!!!!! How can you pass on Quinn and others for this idiot of Ginn. They should all go **** themselves!!! Who knows what's next, maybe they'll pick punter with the second pick.:fire: :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire:

blown #9 pick on a slower Devin Hester. Who took himself out of the biggest game of his life with a tweaked ankle... Ginn is a stretch as a viable #2 receiver in the NFL, much less an All-Pro guy.

I guess taking a guy who's been deemed "the next big thing" by one of the best offensive coaches in the history of the NFL wasn't a good pick...

Sigh, I guess the front office must like Pat White or John David Booty #1 overall next year...

I wanted us to draft Ginn months ago...of course when Quinn was there I wanted us to take him but I'm just as happy with Ginn....we do need to get a good QB next but Ginn is gonna make a lot of plays for us and we can still get our QB at 40.

Ozzy rules!!
i concur

"Tweaked ankle" huh? :shakeno: I wish people would stop making stuff up just beacause they don't like a player.

you simply DO NOT pass up on a player READY to play in the NFL like brady quinn when you have QB issues for A) A 37 year old past his prime and B) a wide receiver with an INJURY before he hits MINICAMP. 180lb WR with #9? This is the NFL, and thats not Jerry Rice. Get real Mueller.

That's nice. I predict Ginn is a giant bust, who returns punts and is our 3rd receiver for a couple years before being dumped and out of the NFL soon afterwards.

Hall is better then Ginn? Ginn had 100+ yards recieving against Hall in the Michigan game. Ginn also outperformed another 1st round pic in Aaron Ross of Texas.
