When one of them said 'All the NFL teams had better get their hits in on the Fins while they can because this team is going to be very good real soon....'

Gave me the warm fuzzies...and I believe that quote was when we were still at 7-3 early in the 3rd quarter....It'll take more than a few wins this year to re-gain the respect around the league, but it'll come and teams will be paying for it very soon....

Go Fins....

me too but how many times you seen team on the verge then crawl back the next year it's all but done but we are looking better

Almost all the announcers I have heard have given the Phins their props and have said that Miami is a dangerous team that can beat anyone on a given day....just about the only one who rarely commends us is Randy Cross....Mr Ego.

Personally, I don't care if we get respect or not.

All I care about is beating people.

I don't care about the idiot sports talking heads
like Salsbury, Prisco, Berman, etc have to say.

All I care about is beating people.

I don't care if nobody in the NFL thinks we're for real.

All I care about is winning.

That said;

Yeah, it was a good line. I thought it was hilarious how much
Steve Tasker was saying nice things about Miami, and, sounded like he was
ready to choke the official that called RB's TD a fumble.

He even stopped himself for a second and said:

"I'm DEFINITLY not one to come to the Dolphins defense!" :rofl3:

I was really mad when the replay didn't overturn the call, but, that
did make me laugh, even then.:)

Beleive or not it was former Bill Steve Tasker who said it, and he said it several times throughout the game.

Oh yea, I forgot about "Mr. I-was-a-HOF-in-my-career" Cross...

I've said this in past threads about us getting respect from the media, but funny how a couple of wins makes some of these guys really change their tunes about the Fins....of course, it makes for great fodder for us Fins...

I can't remember what post game show it was or which annoucer said it because I was leaving the room when they said it but they were praising Saban and the team and one of them said "Saban is doing a fine job but I think any coach could've went down there and improved that team"

I stopped and asked my 10 year old son who said it, and he just shrugged his shoulders. Dam 10 year old attention span.

My point is there are still people who don't beleive, which is fine I love to see "experts" eat crow.

With Wanny, your 10 year old with his attention span would've done well, however, I don't think "any" coach would have done what Saban is doing, and how he's doing it.
