I`m really intrigued why Hadnot nor Chatman got contract extensions .

Why Hadnot and chatman are FA `s ? . i feel not having them anymore is a mistake , does this in the case of hadnot means that Mr.Maser/parcells are already locked at some young OG and that jake long is in fact the target in the draft ? ... not resigning hadnot definitely makes me think that the OLine will be revamped a lot . in the case of chapman it is hard to see a RB that gave everything on every down let go , he really played well , does this means R.Brown , R.Williams and L.Booker are enough ? ...or ...... that the marion barber trade is very real ? .... ... wow .. any news or opinions ?

i am just sad that they are not being signed back. i know hadnot is asking for a lot, i bet that has something to do with it. hopefully they jsut testing out FA.... i dont know. i like them both a lot, especially Chapman.

I can go on with those two not here, Hadnot is a penalty positive magnet, and chapman played well but having Rony,Ricky and Florenzo doesn't make much sense to keep him.

well, I don't know about Hadnot, but I'm gonna say the reason that we didn't sign Chapman is because he doesn't exist. Now, if you mean Cha'T'man, it's probally because we have Ronnie, Ricky, and LoBo already tied at that position

dude...MIA wanted to sign them,but they don't want to come back to a team that only won 1 time....can't say i blame them though....

Probably cuz we are eyeing a Marion Barber trade, why would we want Chatman when we have 4 other backs with the possible Barber trade.

Hadnot is an average player, at best. And he really had problems in the 2nd half of the season, consistently losing in one on one situations. It's no surprise they have shown no interest in bringing him back.

It was widely reported that the Dolphins did reach out to Chatman. But, Chatman wanted to hit free agency. I can't see any reason why Chatman would want to be on the Dolphins. They already have Ronnie Brown, Lorenzo Booker, and Ricky Williams. Chatman will be in demand on the open market, as a cheaper alternative to Michael Turner. He was also very critical of his teammates this year, citing their lack of effort. And he was very supportive of Cam Cameron. And Cam Cameron has a need for a backup RB in Baltimore.

I don't think the Barber trade happens, and Chatman did okay, but obviously didn't really impress with his hands. It may be we go after RB Tyson Thompson 6'1", 225 lbs. Remember reading good things about him a while back. He wasn't tendered by Dallas, and free to sign with any team.

i'd say we didn't sign Hadnot because from what i read&understand,he wanted too much,more than what he's worth....and Chatman,well,my guess,because we have Ronnie,Ricky,&Booker.

actually, Hadnot wanted to return, but was asking for a bit more than we were willing to give, so Ireland never even began negotiations with the agent.

Chatman was Cam's guy. Once he was gone, Jesse lost all job security with us (plus, Ronnie is still here, Ricky will probably still be here, and I believe both Gado and LoBo will be back).
