but I'm not worried. I think we looked awesome last night. We were playing the BEST QB OF THIS GENERATION. I don't understand blitzing him so much so there was one on one coverage, but he is THE BEST QB OUT THERE. A first ballot HOF QB. We were SUPPOSED to lose. The world KNEW it. Here is the thing, we OUTPLAYED them for 58 minutes. We would have beat ANY other team last night. Remember, we started 0-2 last year, and got SMASHED in our 2nd game. Then we went on the road, just like this week. The Colts got a couple of big, lucky plays. So what? I like what I saw. :thanks:

I like your optimism but if this offense doesnt start to spread the field out more teams will wise up on our play calling and rip us apart but for now lets hope not and look forward to next week.

The point of football games is to score more points than the other team....Miami failed to do that....which resulted in a loss...

Miami didn't outplay Indy for 58 minutes...

What they TRIED to do was KEEP Indy from OUTPLAYING them......which didn't work either....

There's a difference in mindset here....this team is playing not to lose...because they know they don't have the talent to go out and beat a team where it matters MOST...

The SCOREBOARD...

Lucky plays? They didn't look lucky from my seat in the stadium. They looked like they knew exactly how to take advantage of us.

I am extremely worried about what I have seen in pre seasons and so far this year. I have seen some things that have carried over from last year that are the same.

This game reminded me so much of the 1st Jets game last year, in the sense where we played our hearts out and still came up short.

I'm extremely worried and scared to death of Antonio Gates next week.

I am optimistic about the Dolphins from here on out.

We had some things to work on after the first game, and we fixed them, and now we have some more, and we will fix them.

Dolphins will still have a winning record, even if we lose in San Diego this week.

no they wouldn't have beat any other team
any other team would have made adjustments to the wildcat and stuffed it and held the dolphins to single digits and it would have been a blowout
you are kidding yourselves if you think last night is going to be the norm
get a clue..

I am worried, our LB's can't cover the TE, our safety can't make a tackle, cover, or catch an int that is right in his hands, our receivers can't catch balls in the end zone, our QB won't throw the ball unless he has his own area code. If you aren't worried, you are in denial! We got exploited back to back weeks by the TE, with Gates coming at us!

I agree with you, It was exciting to watch our offense dominate a defense. The offensive line came to play last night and they played like they had something to prove.......I dont agree about the blitzing.....you have to get pressure on Manning and you have to mix your coverage up. I would have double up on the TE and let my CB play more man instead of having the safties playing over the top and leaving LBers who are no match, trying to cover a great TE.

The problem I see is the schedule just got that much tougher.....Our next 6 games are against SD,Buffalo,Jets,NO,Jets, NE. Going out to the west coast on a short week to play the chargers will not be easy. then 4 division games with NO thrown in mix.....we are not in a good position........If we can get the Defense that opened the season and add to it the Offense and Special teams from last night we can get back into it. The one good thing is we havent lost any division games yet.......

There aren't many linebackers that can cover Gonzales, Clark or Gates. In fact there are only a few safeties that can handle the job. Hopefully we learn from the loss and move forward.

From a Bills' fan perspective. i think your guys looked awesome. However it IS disturbing that like the Bills... There is no 2 minute offense worth a crap.

Agree 100%, it will not be even close to as easy as it was last year to turn it around, but anything is possible, and this team is getting better, just need to be a bit more consistant in the game.
