I met Dan Marino today!!!!!!

That's cool. I have seen John Elway a couple times at different places here in Colorado, but never talked to him. I have gotten to talk to some former Broncos like Tom Jackson, Louis Wright, Randy Gradishar and Karl Mecklenburg. My mom met former Bronco's coach Wade Phillips, and she said, "Aren't you Phillip Wade?" She was close. I also have heard some people say that Marino can be kind of a jerk with some people, but he probably gets tired of people getting in his face for an autograph, like when he is sitting down to a quiet dinner with his wife. But that's kind of the price that comes with fame.

In a bar perhaps?

Yeah it was awesome...I actually just met Madison the other day at the Draft Party. He's another Dolphin great, hands down.
I still remember one time when I went to a game in Baltimore. Sam Madison was out there warming up (as was several others). I remember talking to a few players that day, and I was stoked about it. Sam Madison looked up at me, gave me a nod, and kind of laughed at me about how stoked I was. lol I would have laughed at me too.

LOL..I cropped out my son, not a big fan of putting pics of my kids on the internet.

Hey! That Marino fella looks familiar!

I met him at the JW Marriot in Downtown Los Angeles.

This dude Dolfan3773 is like the ****ing Paparazzi. He just knows where the stars, celebrities and athletes are.

Dude runs into more athletes out in public just shopping around than most normal people could in a locker room.

Like twice a week this guy will start a thread about some athlete he just met.

I once shook hands with Kim Bokamper. I also saw Bob Griese at a pizza hut once. That's that count? :rolleyes2:

I am so jealous of all of you! Having lived in north east pretty much my whole lifethe chance of me running into a great Dolphin is pretty much 0

oh, and, I once ate a bagel at John Offerdahl's place. That can't count.

Ditto on living in the northeast but I did get to go to Marino's retirement party (along with many others).

I sat and chatted for maybe 10mins with the great should-be HOF'er Kuech up on Hillsboro in Deerfield Beach about 10yrs ago while waiting to have our hair cut. Also shook Junior Seau's hand at the Sawgrass Mills Mall soon after he signed on.
