I work for the TradeWinds Resort on St. Pete Beach, Florida. It does exist so I am not making up this (Ask Muck if you don't believe me about this place). I work for Human Resources but picked up some Valet Shifts and today was my first day doing it and what a lucky day it was. He is actually staying at the resort with his wife and two children, there were also other people with him but what do I care about them. He was driving a very nice Rols Royce (Sp?) He gave the bellman 100 bucks for taking their bags and gave me $20.00 for opening the car doors for his family. I gave the 20 to someone else because they actually did more work with him then me. Its funny to see him just flip hundreds like it is nothing, he had at least 2 grand in his pocket if not more.

I did get to shake his hand and I asked him if he is gonna take us to the Promise Land and he smiled and said "o yeah". Then I made a joke about Jay Fiedler and he laughed and got in the car.

I know alot of people say o I just saw I just saw this guy. But I legitamately met/saw Daunte. He is a very nice guy, not as big as I would think, he looks much bigger with all his pads on. He is tall but weight wise not that big I don't think. And for the big thing that people might want to know and I actually looked for it...he has a pretty noticeable limp right now. But he still has a few months to go.

All and all a great guy.

I've met daunte before at a club in gainesville and had a talk with him too. I saw his car and it is rediculous!!!! The rolls royse has 26' rims crazzzzy! He was real cool and it was real cool to see him at a club scene atmospher. He really is a totally cool guy and it is awesome taht you met him like that.

I believe your story, I have no reason not to. Everyone else, however, will call you a liar and post that stupid smiley asking for a link, as if that joke wasn't old.

thanks for sharing your experience with us...

thats cool.....my uncle used to work out with him when he was at ucf and said he is the biggest player he has seen that wasnt on the line or playing linebacker. he was saying he was lifting 300 pounds like it was nothing.

Hey what city is that resort at? thats awsome that you saw him and glad to know hes not one of those guys that think hes better then everyone else ,even though he is.:dolphins:

Yeah, probably was going to go to a strip club so he could play some craps.

If he was going to a strip club to play craps his wife and kids were going with him.

As to where this city Is. Think Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida. If I am not mistaken he is living in Orlando right now and that is only about 1.5 hours-2 hours away from where I live on the West Coast of Florida.
