I met Mike Pouncey last night.

These guys are 24 years old now and are suppose to be professionals. Maybe they need to stop dressing and acting like juvenile delinquent turds.

well Im not a proponent of his style of dress , don't go showing my boxers but its not like he is extremely sagging but just because something isn't your norm does not mean he is dressed like a delinquent.
I mean if you want him to dress like the professional that he is then he should wear a football helmet all the time in full pads. This idea that athletes are anything but what they are is beyond me.

Alot of people pound the table here on not judging others. Yet the basic arguments on Pouncey are personal judgments based on looks and associations. I'm still waiting for someone to show me any convictions the Pounceys are guilty of.
 
Do I wish Pouncey would use some more discretion in his actions and tweets? Sure I do. But I'm not ready to condemn someone who has never been charged or indicted for a damn thing. As a matter of fact, pre-Hernandez charges, Pouncey was being praised (justifiably so) as being a real team player, a responsible voice of the franchise and for sticking up for his teammates.

So essentially, he's been tarred and feathered for his friendship with Hernandez and Incog's tweet release showing that he partied hardy as well as Jona Martin - who seems to have gotten a free pass for that as well as her general douchebaggery of not being able to tolerate the kind of hazing that most fraternity pledges wish they'd have had to put up with.. Beyond that, nada!

Now if someone wants to condemn Pouncey for his friendship with Hernandez that's fine. However, there's an influential politician now in office who had a card-carrying Communist as a mentor through his formative years, a spiritual leader for the last 20 years with a bunch of youtube sermons for the record that reek of racial bigotry and more, and then a self-described "family friend" who when younger was a domestic terrorist and within the last 10 years as an adult, described himself as an "anarchist."

So if you want to condemn a football player for the bad choices he made in terms of who he's associated with, considering the assorted type scum with whom said politician has closely associated and been influenced by, I sure as hell hope you never voted for that politician whose policies greatly impact on domestic and global policy .

I don't know all the particulars and why they were questioned on their association with Hernadez but it was very poor judgement to have a free Hernandez hat on with all the charges coming down. Nothing wrong with trying to support a friend but they could have found a more proper way of doing it.
Its like they were saying that he was arrested for no damn reason.

I also think that many of the comments made on texts between Incognito and Martin put Pouncey in a bad light drug wise. I mean none of us have proof but Im sure they didn't just text these things for the hell of it.
It seems people believe the texts they want to believe and decide that others didn't really say anything.
At one point, Incognito asks Martin if Martin went to Mike Pouncey’s house after going to a bar. Martin says he didn’t, saying “No drugs for me rest of season.”

I don't think that text can be taken any other way except as it sounds. Now is it enough to convict someone in court of law, no but he didn't just text that for no reason.

If you stared at walls in college, then you did it wrong. I spent most of my time studying and getting good grades. Of course, I also went to bars and had a good time, but nothing illegal and certainly not with the likes of these morons. If you can't differentiate between that and hanging out with thug pieces of **** and throwing drug and hooker parties, then you might have your aqua and orange goggles on too tight.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I have NEVER been in strip clubs, never hung out with murderers and gang bangers, never dressed like trash and sure as hell have never acted like the Pounceys. Thank God. At 24, I was a professional college graduate and acted like it. I didn't have to act immature like some people do.
 
Can you imagine what these dudes are going to look like as grandparents with those ridiculous tats??
