Booker just had a very nice TD catch for the Bears vs. the Eagles.

As bad as the WR corps looks in Miami they would be very respectable with Booker and Chambers right now.

Not me! We have some young, HUNGRY WR's trying to make their mark (and the big bucks some day) I don't miss them a bit.
Didn't we get Samson Satele with the Chambers trade from the draft?

Hell, let's pretend we traded both of them for Samson, I say we made out like a bandit!!

Think about it, we have been in dire need of a monster playing center since Dwight Stephenson retired.

Sorry to ramble, sorry you miss them. Not to sound mean in any way just stating I Don't miss them!

Tell me about it. We really need to hold on to every single player that ever wears a Phins jersey. Except for the ones that already do, of course. Maybe we can talk the league into upping our roster numbers and salary cap? Especially in order to sign any FA that NE could possibly pick up.
 
What are people thinking when they talk about players from the past??? Booker did nothing while he was here. Chambers was a total underachiever that had a good game once in a while. We would be worse if they were still on the team.

We got Satele in the 07 draft, with a 2nd round draft pick aquired from New England for Wes Welker. Therefore Welker=Satele.
For the Chambers trade, we got a 2nd round pick in the 08 draft(Chad Henne). Chambers=Henne.
Chambers played the beginning of the 07 season for us, then he was traded to San Diego before the deadline.
 
maybe it's just me, but Booker never seemed happy here. I remember he was miffed when we traded for him, but it never seemed like Booker was with us mentally.

Chambers I would've been happy keeping, but we had to start rebuilding.

Meh, I'm glad we've moved on. The duo was barely respectable in their years in Miami. Ironically, I think their skill set may have been better suited for a QB like Pennington, but we'll never know for sure.

I like Chambers but he was such an enigma while in Miami. He never really produced like the number 1 we all hoped he'd become and he dropped far too many passes.

I was never a fan of Booker, I hated that we traded Ogunleye for him. We had the best defensive end set in the league. They were QB crushing bookends.
 
The Ogunleye for Booker trade was one of the worst trades ever, and I sure as hell dont miss Booker.

You need to sit down and see how nice Camarillo and Bess are coming along. Ginn last week made some improvement, but needs to keep improving. Atleast we have recievers that can catch. Camarillo, Bess and Fasano have caught everything their way.
 
chambers is 30 years old. had you not traded him do you think A. he would make you a super bowl contender B. he will still be contributing when you were a legit superbowl contender?

or do you guys feel you are contenders now?
 
I dont know, but I think Chambers is still himself. He is not a true number 1 and drops to many balls. He defitnetly has made the Chargers better, but He still shows flashes of what got him traded. He difitnetly was not worth a 2nd round pick, but thanks.
 
wow u guys are ridiculous for saying chambers was an underachiever and never really produced....he had who to throw to him??? dont get me wrong im glad we got a 2nd rounder for him for rebuilding purposes, but i wouldnt mind him being back on the phins either
 
we picked him in the 2nd round used him for 8 yearS? then got a 2nd round pick for him.. not a bad deal..
