I think it really sucks how he got suspended/1yr for some bullcrap. He meant a lot more to this team than people give him credit for. He made our below average O-Line at the time look great...

his first year here he has 383/1800+yds with 4.8 average and 16 TD ???? ?!??!???? note that the 383 carries is more than nearly every RB currently in the league has ever had.

what sucks is we ran him into the ground, literally. we gave him even more carries the next year, 392, breaking records. why oh why did wanny do this.... i dont blame him for leaving when he did.. 775 carries in 2 years is crazy.

He didn't get suspended for "bullcrap".
He got suspended for a drug policy he was very well aware of after the 3 times previous that he had failed tests.

"leaving when he did"........His leaving had more to do with Bob Marley than Wannstedt. The boy is more interested in exploring the cosmos on a magic carpet within his own brain than focusing on his football career.

Immense talent but a head case.
It's very likely you'll never see the Ricky you want to see ever again.

to my knowledge he got banned for taking some herbal supplement or something? for his health?? ummm its not like the guy is doing drugs all the time LOL man come on.. if he got banned again for smoking pot it would be different.. he didn't and im quite positive the CFL is drug testing him there too

I live in Canada and watch the CFL - substance abuse testing/polices are not even CLOSE to the NFL....

Seen many Argo games this year - he's not the same back as he was....

Just to clarify....

didnt he just have 7 rushes/70+ yards?? and he looked pretty darn good in a fins jersey less than 1 year ago.
 
You cant compare being a back in Canada to our game. The three downs really hurt a back like Ricky. I remember in the first game he looked like he did not miss a beat and helped them grind out the clock.

yeah but hes still more running back than we got right now! Ronnie aint bad but he aint no ricky........Yet!!!:boohoo:
 
Oh puleeze give me a break with the Ricky threads. He's not here right now. I, for one, have never faltered in my assertion that we're better off without Ricky Williams. Don't want the guy back - period - win or lose. And don't tell me I'm not a true Dolphin fan. I have been one for a long time. The dude can't be trusted.

"better off without him"?!?.... hhhmmmm... Our record certainly hasn't been better without him... And no matter what he was suspended for, it saddens me that he's gone. Last I heard, weed isn't exactly a performance enhancing drug. :goof:

That's MY personal belief and opinion, which I am completely entitled to. Like I said I don't want him back, win or lose. No - weed isn't a performance enhancing drug - it's an ILLEGAL drug.

funny how you Ricky lover/Ronnie haters ALWAYS ignore the FACT that Ronnie AS A ROOKIE, behind the SAME line had the same Yards per carry...which was BETTER than Ricky's rookie year...AND he caught MORE passes

You're absolutely right! You ARE entiltled to your opinion and I would never take that away from anyone. And, for the record, I wasn't bashing you or your statement, I was simply expressing my p.o.v.... As far as this legality of weed... I'm sure you've never broken a law? Drank and drive? Parked illegaly? Shop lifted? C'mon with that "illegal" crap! Half the laws in this country were written to get some politcian or another re-elected by preying off the fear of the ignorant. :rolleyes2

Why is it that, on this site, if you liked Ricky or what he did on the field, it's automatically assumed that you MUST hate Ronnie... Personally, I like 'em both!
