Yesterday really rejuvenated me. It's been years since I really felt like we had a chance against teams week in and week out. Last year was expected disappointment each week, and even though I had my hopes up after the preseason, I still had tempered enthusiasm coming into week 1. But after yesterday - I can see that this team still has alot of talent! Ronnie and Ricky - well, this is what we hoped they would do. We hoped the coaching staff would find a way to use them both, and props to them for doing that. Pennington looked great yesterday - exactly what we hoped he would bring to Miami. Fasano is a steal right now, with all the big plays he's made this season (minus week 2). And that defense - well, who knew we even had one after last week? I'm guessing we just forgot to get them aboard the plane to Arizona...

But man, I really miss this feeling. I used to feel legitimate hope before every game, even during the Wannstedt era. I truly missed going into every game thinking that all things created equal, we could take the Pats. the Bills, and those effin' Jets. Yesterday finally showed that if used correctly, these guys can flat-out perform.

Man, it's a new season now. Hell, we're only 1 game back of a Wild-Card berth.
;)

Ok, maybe that wen't a little too far.

i hear ya. i missed what it felt like to talk some smack before the games. we were one pass from winning against the jets, lets not talk about the arizona debocle. yesterday's game proved to be something to look forward to. lets hope the staff keeps this team amped going into week 5 against san diego

This team could easily be 2-1 going into the bye instead of 1-2. As for the cardinals game, just like Holliday said, were getting close on some of the plays on defense but were not making them...well yesterday, they didnt get close, they made those plays out there.

I just missed the feeling of not having to feel nauseous knowing that the offense was gonna get on the field.
