I must say Saban really is a defensive genius

After a VERY slow start the defense has become all that i thought it would be. Saban is truly showing how great he really is as a defensive coach. Just wanted to give him some due credit in a rough season so far.

When you have JT and Zach it isn't too hard to look good....but I think Saban has gotten our secondary to gel together nicely compared to where we were at earlier in the year. You don't see as many blown coverages or pass interference calls. :tongue:

It was a brand new unit compared to last year. They have come along nicely.

This Dolphins defense is starting to look REAL good. We are #4 in the NFL in total defense ... ahead of the Jaguars defense, who everyone says is so good.

We have the #1 tackler in Zach Thomas and the #4 sack machine in Jason Taylor. They seem to do it year and year out. They should just go ahead and plan to hang out on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl again this year. We have GOT to get into a Super Bowl in the next year or so before they get too old!

I dont know how much credit I can give to our DLine coach with all the talent we have on that line. He hasnt been doing a bad job or anything, but he certainly has a ton of talent to work with...

I agree with comments about us having plenty of talent up front. What they are doing is not from coaching much. They are beasts. My focus right now is on where Saban has brought the secondary. More productivity out of better quality players now and they are jelling nicely. Props to the secondary.
