Hey guys, I need help. Living in Southern New Jersey I can't get any Dolphins sportstalk. On the rare occasion I hear any football talk on the radio, it pertains to the Eagles. I would like to get some satellite radio for my truck so I can hear some football, preferably Dolphins talk radio.

I have heard that there are different kinds of satellite radio and am wondering if one has more dolphins talk than the other. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I cant help you with Dolphin talk radio but my friend has XM and IMO it sucks. MY other buddy has Sirious and I think that is much better.

i have XM radio, i dont really listen to the sports talk shows i mainly just use it for the actually music and the baseball games. Im a redsox fan so i can listen to all the games down here. But since you want football Sirius is the football radio, XM is for baseball

Sirius has excellent sports/football talk plus you can get the Dolphin broadcast of the games every Sunday. To me, it isn't even close....go with Sirius!

I have Sirius and love it, but for Dolphin talk radio I Listen to 790 the Ticket or WQAM on the net. I can't post links or I would.

Sirius is the way to go. Channel 124 has 24 hr NFL talk. They broadcast every game each week. I bought the Sirius boom box so I can listen to the Dolphins while at work. I occasionally have to work on Sundays. I didn't miss a single Miami game this past season.

i've got sirius and my brothers got XM and my sirius blows his xm out of the water, i say get sirius

oh please guys....stop saying Sirius blows XM out of the water. Yes, Sirius has the NFL channel, and NFL Sunday Drive, and if you only want football get that. But don't say XM sux. I have XM, and love the channels it has. First of all, if you've ever lived in the Boston or New York area, you probably know who Opie and Anthony are. Their show is offensive, but it's oh so good.

XM has the baseball thing which is cool, but I love the music stations as well.

You can say to get Sirius if you only care about the NFL, but saying XM sucks is just ignorant.

If you buy sirius, don't buy the Sportster receiver. It's crap.....I've had to get it replaced twice because it keeps breaking.

I try to listen to 790 the Ticket or WQAM over the net but they always mute/block out the segments where the discuss the Phins and Heat (or is it the Marlins?). Is there anyway to listen to the full show over the net (such as going through NFL.com)?

How does it work inside buildings? I work in solid brick building with just some glass block windows (can't see out of them). Would it work in my office?

Sirius for football, XM for baseball The music is about the same.

Probably not. My boss has it and we can't get a signal in here. The only chance you'd have in a building is if you had enough window space that would allow the signal in. It'd probably have to face whichever direction the bird is in space.

Do you think it would grab the siganl through the glass blocks?

This thread is so gonna get moved.....
