..My heart is torn in a thousand pieces right now..thanks to a gift victory My beloved Buckeye's wrapped up for Texas...Too many drops (huge drops)..and were basically outta the Nat'l title hunt...I feel like I just have been dumped by a lifelong girlfriend....In college every game is a playoff game if your in the Nat'l title hunt.....

..But just in time are the Dolphins..Nothing says "i'm over it" like a Miami opening week upset would!! I think Saban has yet to unleash alot both offensivly and defensivly..Come out and shock the doubters..how great would that be?? But as I found out last night its not always enough to just outplay a team...You cant have dumb mistakes and hopefully Saban has installed enough discipline in our team that we wont....We need our big play players to step up and our budding stars to bud today..All the BS talking for 9 months is over lets see what the Dolphins are really about.

Tough game, u need to put a team as good as Texas away and the Buckeyes had MANY chances. Almost like watching a Wandstadt coached game. Buckeyes will still be in the hunt though (an early loss) they have to win out and Texas and other teams above them prob won't. Oh this is a Fins forum?.... LET"S GO MIAMI bury the Broncos !!!!!

.i was pulling for the bucks last night too, but to say they outplayed texas is off the mark, IMO.

osu won the field position battle and were subsequently shut down by the UT defense. and as well as the osu linebackers played, vince young tore them up through the air.

what a game though. i have a good friend at osu, he said columbus was silent last night

i like your buckeyes because they have a good deffense and your qbs are good . they just dont have a wr and a dominate tight end.

Well, as an OSU fan, you can go to hell, but as a Phins fan, I feel I have to cheer you up. ;)

Take heart in the fact that there will probably be a TON of one-loss teams this year. In fact, I'd be surprised if anyone but USC makes it through the regular season undefeated. If you're going to lose, it's better to lose early than lose late. OSU, like Miami, Michigan and Oklahoma, is not out of the national title picture just yet.

Not only will we win...but we create a new standard in football with our victory. teams will try and model our success but fail for years...and once they do find out the secret to our powers we will have formulated a new scheme which will lead them all to a point of insanity...because they know they will never ever be able to reach that standard.

Shula and Saban. Connecting the pass with the future. Oh thats voodoo.

Well, Texas had a little to do with that huge win last night.
The Dolphins will have their work cut out for them today IMO. Anytime a team starts out with a new head coach and O&D philosophies there is a learning (adjustment) period.

Mike Anderson is on a mission this year and we'll be a running a lot of 3 TE sets. Ashley should have even a better year than last. We finally have a punt returner and a punter, our special teams should be improved immensely!

Here's to a good game :happydrin
