If you want to cut the sleeves off a hoodie, buy a cheap gray one. You can pick them up for $10 or so at Foot Locker or Champs sports (they are actually very nice and heavy for the price). That way he will have a nice one to wear (as much as I hate the Patriots, you don't want the whole gift to be something he won't wear or use) as well as a cut-sleeve hoodie.

You may also want to add a Patriots "best of DVD". Include the clip of Brady going out for the season, the huge sack the G-men laid on Brady in the final seconds of SB XLII, the clip of Ronnie running the Wildcat against them this year, a shot of the scoreboard in '72 when the Fins ripped the Pats 52-0, Marino's 1994 opening day comeback on the 4th and 5 play that won it a run down of the 1990 Pats season (1-15 and the incident with the female locker room reporter...btw, that 1-15 Pats team was FAR worse than our 1-15 team last year), etc.
