Wake is being held all night! He has been arm bared and brought to the ground and you call nothing. Seriously, I am pissed about the lack of pressure all night against a crappy inexperienced o-line and with Koppen probably suffering a serious injury, IF we cannot generate pass rush, Sparano and Nolan and every single front d-lineman and linebacker needs to get their ***** chewed out by Ross..

This is looking good for the 2nd half. Solder will not contain Wake all night long and it's already started in these last 2 possessions. Koppen out also weakens their interior too, I expect a solid 2nd half defensively IF we start to tackle like mens...
 
They finally called it when it got blatant, and Wake got the sack the next time. That'll throw Solder off a bit.
 
One thing for sure, I would have our guys running double wind sprints in the beginning of the week. The lack of conditioning from our defense is sadly evident and it's pathetic. You get paid millions guys. Get your ***** to camp IN SHAPE.
 
When Wake makes contact with him he holds him and does not allow him to disengage. Thats one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Don't really agree as we're beginning to dominate now after an awful start. I'm really confident for the 2nd half...

Can't agree with what? They guys were gassed hard core in the first quarter and well into the second. Hands were on hips and our d-line were just going through the motions with the exception of Wake. It was glaringly obvious...
 
Pressure starts with coverage. It is not humanly possible to get to brady in under 2 seconds.

We are leaving guys, not just 1 step open, but 2-5 yards open. That has to end.

I agree on the bad calls though, incognito got called for a phantom hold on haynesworth (he fell to the ground), but no calls on the blatant holds by the pats? wtf?

At least they called the last one.....


I'm glad our secondary decided to make an appearance in the second quarter, we can't win a shootout with the pats.
 
I raised this point yesterday and the responses were "excuses already"?
The Patriots get the calls. The Don ' Mr Kraft" sits on his throne. He will not lose.
There is no way that rookie can stop wake unless he holds.
That was one of my keys to the game.

The offense had the ball for half of the first quarter, how could the defense be gassed? The Pats scored in 3 minutes

You tell me why the guys had their hands on their hips and the d-lineman made pathetic attempts at shedding their blocks?
