"One thing to keep in mind w/Dan Quinn- his former agent, Mike Tannenbaum, is running Miami. Some teams worried if they wait for Quinn he could end up replacing Joe Philbin next month, regardless of what the Dolphins are saying. Jets had that concern, at least to some degree. Tannenbaum no longer reps Quinn and Fins maintain support for Philbin but there are some skeptics who wonder if they'd pounce."

I doubt Ross would go back on his word, even though there's probably a lot of Miami fans who'd embrace a change to a 23-25 coaching regime.

Dan Quinn gets screwed of a HC job because his defense is rolling people. LOL. Such a joke.

Alex Marvez heard from people that alerted him to Tannenbaum that Joe is still not safe. Interesting.

I was so excited when I read the headline of this story elsewhere until I learned the source was JLC. This is just more bull**** from LaCon

I was "meh" on Quinn months ago, but the more I have heard of him and how Seattle plays, I am very interested.

Make the move!

I love the coaches he has worked under too. Great resume.

If Tannenbaum has been Ross' primariy shadow consultant on the Dolphins all season.
Why advise him to give Ross(edit Philbin) a vote of confidence only to reverse that decision once he was on in a official capacity?

It doesnt make sense.

If Quinn is a done deal(secretly to Miami) why not simply fire Philbin and wait.

This simply costs Ross millions in an extension package.
