Hey fellow fin fans. Just thought i would add a little personal knowledge about UDFA Center Chris McNeil from MS State. He is from south MS where i am from and in the off-season he worked out at the same gym that i go to. This guy is a warrior. He is built like a stump. While he isnt that big a guy, 6'3 about 290. He is solid and has a good frame. I really dont think he can add on too much more bulk, maybe 300 or 310. But he is solid, no fat, maybe 10 or 12 percent fat. Not bad for a big guy. He is very strong and works very hard. I would talk to him all the time and joke with him for the last two or three years about playing in Miami when he graduated. He would have this big notebook of his workout regimine from MSU that he would go by on his off-season workouts. It was crazy some of the things he had to do. He was always in really good shape. Loves playing football, and is very "NASTY." Plays with a real mean streak, a chip on his shoulder. He's kind of an old school player. Probably wont wow you with his athletic ability but he is solid. He's a really good guy, and has good character and ethics about him. Good family too. Dad is a minister i believe. Has a younger brother that just finished freshman year at Tennesse. Who is also a center and a great athlete. Watch out for his brother in a few years.

Did i mention he's a real "NASTY" player.

If you have any questions and want to know more. Feel free to ask and i will try to answer them for you.

Im sure he can play some guard, cant really remember if he played G at MSU. but i think he is primarily a C due to his size. Great guy, with great motor and attitude. Im telling you he is a hard worker. If he doesnt stick it wont be due to his lack of effort, i can tell you that. He might wind up on the practice squad. Had good Junior year. He was preseason all SEC i believe. So thats not bad.

I agree. Talking up the Dolphins may have been key in making this signing happen. Nice job.

His brother is going to be really good. If he can withstand injuries of course as with everybody. He was recruited by all the big time programs (Miami, FSU, Neb., USC, on and on) and he played in the, i cant remember the name of it, but i believe it was the high school all american bowl that was on t.v. and dominated even being small. He is a great athlete has the feet of a TE.
