I predict the Phins go 7-9 this season

im feeling 16-0, just a gut feeling.

in all seriousness, we have a good enough defense to keep us in every single game, so i feel if things break right for us, and henne improves just a bit, we can possibly win 10-11 games.

The Dolphins ended last year by quitting on Tony Sparano and getting CRUSHED by New England.

Surprise, surprise they face New England again on primetime to start the season.

We'll know what this team has by the 4th quarter of game one. If they quit on FAT TONY again, we'll be lucky to win 5 games.

Plus Let's not forget, Henne is our starting Qb.

I say Miami goes 5-10 and finishes well outside of the race for Andrew Luck.

Maybe we can trade a 2nd Round pick for Cam Cameron .... that puts us back in the Luck Sweepstakes!!

I got 9-7 or 10-6 with Henne, miss the playoffs. With Orton I have 11-5, wild card.

its going to take 2 wins or less to secure a shot at luck whcich even with chad henne isnt happening. even with matt moore that isnt happening. i dont know why people cant get andrew luck out of their heads. what has this team or front office ever done to make you believe we wouldnt trade down with luck sitting in our laps. its so bad i could see this FO even ****ing that up if it ever came to it.

I predict the probability of properly predicating a plyable prediction would probably be preposterous precluding players participating in preseason play.

the dolphins are relying way too much on rookies and inexperienced players.

I see people saying that all of Pouncey, Clay, Gates and Daniel Thomas are upgrades, and people here act as if it's set in stone that they'll all be big contributors. Well, that's a bunch of baloney and pom pom cheerleader hype.

May i remind you that only 50% of the picks in the first 4 rounds have panned out during Ireland's tenure. And of course, of the ones that did pan out, some of them took more than a year to get acclimated properly to the NFL game.

And then you have Bush who shouldn't even be considered a running back, because he isn't. He's a league worst 2.8 yards per carry average on grass. Cannot run between the tackles, has terrible vision in traffic, and defenses have learned how to defend him well because his limitations as a RB make him predictable. He's a glorified slot receiver and nothing more.. and we have plenty of slot receivers anyway. And Edmond Gates you say ? So what when you don't have a QB who can throw accurately deep to save his life. And other teams know this so they don;t take Miami's deep threats seriously anyway and will play the same shell coverages and cover 2's that Henne can't read for sh*t

Defense you say ? Yes, it's good, but so what when the offense is impotent. The defense was good last year and they looked like a bunch of chumps in week 17 at NE. And guess what, when this defense AGAIN realizes that the offense is impotent because of the lack of QB play, more than likely they will quit earlier -- or take their foot off the gas pedal when they realize all the pressure they're under with needing to shut out opposing teams just to have a chance to win.

It's just like hockey. When a goalie allows a bad soft goal he should have saved, you see the effect of that reverberating all around the team. The entire team feels deflated when their goalie lets in 2 soft goals. And it takes them out of their rhythm and game resulting in lackadaisical play. The same will happen this year when the offense is impotent once again, but it may happen earlier this year when the defense gets sick and tired of the horrible play of the offense under all that pressure they're under..

and having to deal with it for 2 years in a row will really deflate the psyche of the defensive players even more.

The Dolphins will be anywhere between 5-11 to 8-8. And 8-8 only IF they get all the lucky bounces and stay relatively healthy. This team has a 0% chance of a wildcard playoff berth in this AFC conference.

I'll make a pact: If we go 1-15 and Sparano/Ireland are still calling the shots in next years draft then I'll quit the Dolphins forever.

This is just my opinion. I appreciate any comments and criticism but at this moment in time, I believe this team goes 7-9.

*Note - I believe the dolphins go 0-2 against NE, 2-0 against NYJ and 1-1 against BUF.

7-9 I can see but you aren't sweeping us unless we have a crazy amount of injuries.
