I'm the opposite. I read those names at $12, $13, $14 , $15 and $17 million and just think no way in hell would I give Stills even $10 million. His neighborhood shouldn't be any where near those guys.

In a contract year he had 42 catches, averaged 47 yards/game and had 9tds. That's not worth 10-12mm/year.

Ted Ginn had 54 catches for 742 yds and 4tds. He made 2mm last year.

You can't keep everyone and you especially can't overpay mediocrity to maintain continuity. At some point you have to trust in the system and that the staff will replace his speed or adapt.

There is no way he gets 10M to stay here. He would have to value Gase and his teammates and the area more than the money. Then again, maybe he gets a 2 year team friendly deal so he can give it a shot here and still test FA relatively young if he really wants the money or feels we are not as close to a championship as he believed. Stills wants to stay but money talks. We better not pay our 3rd receiver more than 8 and I cannot believe I'm saying that much. What's Landry worth?

For $10mil you can absolutely get 2 above average guards who will play 16 games and 98% of the snaps next season - that level of continuity would be HUGE to bring up the overall play of our OL which would in turn elevate our offense (and as a secondary result, our defense as well).

Getting 2 guards that will play every snap at an above average level could change the ENTIRE TEAM. I'll take 2 guards at $10mil over Stills. I really hope they let him walk if the number is anywhere even remotely close to that number.

12? Landry is great, but we have to be realistic. Landry males a lot of catches and moves the chains, but stills had 9 tds to landrys 3 I think? They work well together. I'd like to see stills around 8, dvp near 10 and Landry at 12 max. When all is said and done.

It boils down to what he wants in life. Money is likely up there. Living Location? Win a Superbowl? Does he think it can happen in Miami?
I'll stick with money and living location.
